Fill in the blank
That's a big list but I have a question??? Time to slow down and do all that? I'm in northern Illinois and I'll slow down when the ice gets here! My last day on my kayak in 2019 was Black Friday! Did well too!

Dirty water crank
I'd use something with Chartreuse, and like you said, a good rattle.

Braid with leader no more
I use braid for everything. I use a mono leader for dropshotting, and I use a mono leader on treble baits, not for line shyness, but because the mono is a little less limp than braid and I get less hook fouling. Nothing else gets a leader and the majority of my fishing is in clear water quarries.

Orochi xxx rods?
I was all set to chime in, I have a small arsenal of Orochi XX rods, but not that one! LOL FYI I love these rods.

Fishing line & stain/dirty water when to replace
You think dirty water damages the line or you just don't like having dirty line? Dirty water does NOT damage the line. If discolored braid was bad I'd be changing mine almost every other time out fishing. Braid does not keep its color very long.

Rod for general cranking & jerkbaits
I use the same for both. I use a Levante Flatside Special and an Orochi XX Swingfire. The Flatside has a little bit of a stiffer tip so I tend to use that for jerkbaits but don't hesitate to use either. Especially if I'm using two different jerkbaits on a particular spot.

How do you guys transport your rods?
Mine get transported strapped to the bow of my kayak, handles under the kayak seat. Single hook baits are already tied on, trebles are put on when I get there.

Fishing line & stain/dirty water when to replace
It's fine. And I've never washed, or heard of anyone washing their line.

What do you always have tied on...
A jig

Cheap Hook and barb cutters
Long story here, but..........long story short. I had a pair of cheap wire cutters,,,,,,last week I hooked the back upper part of my elbow reaching behind me for a different rod.....nice thick Whopper Plopper hook set nice and deep. I had to push it through and cut the barb with my off hand since it was stuck in my dominant hand elbow. Also I could only see a small part of the hook and had to go by feel. In my kayak in the middle of a lake with nobody else in sight. At that moment I really wished I had a better quality wire cutter with me.

Swim jig enthusiasts
Hey!! When did you look in my jig box?? Same here. I use the Impact Fat because I think the regular has TOO much action.. the beauty of so many choices!

Someone explain the "screw lock" trailer keeper on jigs
No, you can screw it onto the hook. You have to flip the back end of the trailer around the hook bend. You don't just push it onto the screw lock. I'm sure a video would be worth a million words and will show you how it's done. That being said, I hate screw lock. I think they're a pain in the arse.

What is that on the horizon?
Is it my free bass boat with Bass Resource logo's????

Best value high end rods for pitching jigs?
I can tell you that my St Croix AvidX was better than my St. Croix Mojo Bass. I can also tell you that my MegaBass Orochi XX Braillist was better than my AvidX. So yes as I spent more the rod was better. I couldn't tell you if that continues as you go even higher.....

Diawa Tatula paired with a heavy power rod
Well you have your answer then! I use the same reel on a MegaBass Perfect Pitch.

Do I Really Need a Leader
No leaders.......

Kayak vs Boat
I stand and fish in my kayak all the time. Especially when working cover.

Tip guide for Orochi XX
Yes but that wasn't an option. On a kayak, only person on the water. I could barely even see the hook due to where it was stuck into my elbow. It was on the back upper part, almost lower tricep. I was lucky that I could see it at all. Otherwise I would have driven home with a Whopper Plopper attached to my elbow.

Tip guide for Orochi XX
To show you how that morning went, I'm fishing in a kayak and reached behind me to get a rod and deep set a treble into my left elbow. The rod was in a holder, I couldn't reach it with my left hand due to the way I was impaled on my elbow, I was able to get turned around enough to get the rod out with my right hand, unhook the lure from the hook keeper on the rod, push the barb through, cut the barb off and pull the hook out. All that was with my right hand on a hook I could only see part of due to its location. Oh, I'm left handed.......lol And............it was a nice big, thick Whopper Plopper hook.

Tip guide for Orochi XX
I'd have to dive to the bottom of a quarry and dig through the weeds to find it.....LOL I ordered a Fugi repair kit, comes with three different sizes. One would fit I'd think.

The Dark Side is Calling
This too funny. For me finesse fishing is using a wacky rigged worm on my T-rig gear for about five minutes. But.............I just ordered a spinning rod and a reel yesterday to try that dropshot technique people talk about.

Tip guide for Orochi XX
I do.

Tip guide for Orochi XX
This morning through my own stupidity I broke the tip off my Orochi XX Braillist. It broke right at the top insert. Can anyone tell me what rod tip guide to use to repair it myself??

High(er) quality rods...
I've never seen or even heard of the XXX.

Smaller Hollow Body Frog Set Up ?
For me I don't get the same distance, but it's close enough.
