It's funny you mention that, I was contemplating 20 lb Sufix 832 with a mono leader on a baitcaster for drop shot.

Drop Shot Main Line You Will Use This Year ?
I've used a drop shot one time ever. I've decided to give it an honest go this upcoming season. I have a spinning combo laying unused and that's what I'm going to use. It has 10 lb mono on it. Now I just need to convince myself I have the patients to use it. LOL

For those that fish everyday...How happy are you? :)
I've been retired for four years, I work security part time afternoons at a high school, so summers off. I am VERY happy that I can fish every day.

Do you have Kryptonite colors? I do!

Right Handed vs Left Handed People...
I was born in the early 60's and am left handed. The nun's at my Catholic school tried to make me right handed but didn't succeed. But growing up there just wasn't a lot of left handed items or sporting gear so I adapted. As a result I'm all over the place on which side I use......off the top of my head as it stands now Shoot guns,...either way Shoot a bow... rh Throw....rh...........got a new baseball glove at 8, right handed but I'd rather use the new one than the correct one Fish.......right handed, try getting left handed stuff in the 60's!! LOL Bat..........either Eat ....lh Scissors........rh kick........lf Write........lh box.........rh

Tell us about your kayak
Well, the Shearwater I pre-ordered early December is cancelled, I ordered a Bonafide SS127 at 10:00 at this morning and got shipping notification at noon. I know the shipping issues with Vibe is out of their control with the virus in China but I can't base my summer of fishing on the uncertainty. I can't wait to see how the SS rigs up, I already have some ideas.

What’s your favorite squarebill rod?
MegaBass Flatside Special.

Removing a backlash
I may have to print this out and try it next time I get a backlash.

Shimano Expride or Megabass Orochi XX
Two Braillists and a Flat Side Special

Removing a backlash
I have NEVER gotten that to work. Thankfully my backlashes have decreased over the years and when I do they aren't as bad. Of course now I jinxed myself.

paddle holder
I can't count how many times I change my configurations and locations on my kayaks. What seems good in my head doesn't always work out when I sit on it on my garage floor, and then works out even less on the water. Although I am getting much better at my layouts on first tries.

Tell us about your kayak
While patiently awaiting my now delayed Shearwater I'm contemplating the Bonafide SS127. The Shearwater delay is already going past my first two tournaments.

What's the difference between swim jig & chatterbait?
And the chattering blade vs no blade my be the "only" difference but it can be a very big difference. Personally I do better with a swim jig but I fish a lot of very clear water. In murky or muddy water the chatterbait does well.

Basic do's and don'ts of taking apart a baitcaster?
Considering all the tiny parts, including springs, and adding in my thick fingers, my rule is..........don't. LOL

Customizable utility tray
Put them in a worm binder. They stay untangled from any other spinnerbaits and take up less room than a box.
