  1. I use the Braillist for that purpose. Weightless up to 1/2 oz.
  2. A wacky rigged Senko.
  3. I use the same rods I use for cranks. M/Moderate. I used to prefer MH/Fast but find my hook ups are better with the M/Mod.
  4. I have no idea, I've never seen the orange. These are the only ones I've ever actually had.
  5. I have those, with the yellow handles. They work great.
  6. Good split ring pliers are the key. Pliers specifically for the job, not pliers with a crappy bump on the tip.
  7. The jig box is worth every penny. The terminal box is a close second.
  8. Fishing from a kayak I don't have the luxury of a bunch of boxes. I cram between 25-30 in a Plano 3700. I know I don't need them all on a given outing but I know I don't need them at home when I'm out on the water..lol
  9. For the lures you stated I'd go MH/Fast too. Also, why braid that heavy? I'd go with 30 lb.
  10. I keep them in a Plano box too. Never had an issue at all. Hot or cold.
  11. I've heard good things too regarding tangle free, but you aren't getting anywhere near 50 in that.. Unless you just have small square bills...
  12. One box, 50 cranks, no tangling of the hooks............. Good luck with that! I don't think it exists.
  13. I use 20 lb braid with a 12 lb mono leader for all my cranks. I used M/Mod rods.
  14. Aren't most under $10?? I use mainly War Eagle brand.
  15. I use the Fuji. I position it on the side of the rod opposite my reel handle.
  16. I was devoted to St. Croix, I like to keep the same brand for my rods so the actions are known to me. Different brands act different. But.........now I'm slowly converting to MegaBass.
  17. My kayak is hitting the water tomorrow for the first time in 2020....
  18. Dirty Jigs pitchn jig.
  19. My leader length is such that when I have the hook/lure on the hook keeper on the rod the leader does NOT go through the tip guide. When the leader gets down to about 3 feet in length I start over.
  20. One of the reasons I like to stick to one rod manufacturer is due to the difference in ratings between them. If I like a MH/Fast I want my next one to behave the same way. One company's MH may be another company's heavy.
  21. My favorite is a War Eagle Trokar in Mouse color. I do better with spinnerbaits when there's a good chop or cloud cover.
  22. I started with two rods in my kayak and wonder why people needed so many. Now I bring six, will probably go up to seven, and fight the urge to bring eight.
  23. I haven't counted but I'm guessing I'm in the 100's not counting soft plastics. Jigs alone I'm probably around 70-80, crankbaits I'm probably around 50-60. Add in jerkbaits, topwaters, spinnerbaits...........I'll say 200 total for everything.
