Stick Bait : When To Wacky Rig vs. T-Rig ?
This is exactly what I do. Wacky if lack of vegetation/wood allows it. If there's a pretty good chance of snagging I'll go T-rig. I always have to rods for plastics, one weightless and one with a weighted t-rig that I can peg the weight if I want. If it's shallow I'll just re-rig the plastic on the weightless between wacky or t-rig, if I need to get some depth I'll use the weighted. I often change as I work along a bank to match that specific area so both rods are within easy reach of me in my kayak.

What would be the best frog rod for $150 or lower
I use the Abu Garcia Veritas 7-03 H/Fast for frogging and love it.

What line should I use for jigs and worms
I use 30 pound braid but just started using 10 lb flouro was a leader. Too early to tell if it makes a difference but it can't hurt either.

Will they bite again?
When I'm fishing with hollow body frogs I have another rod right next to me with a plastic worm. If I miss a hook set with the frog I cast right back to the same spot. If I don't get another strike I throw the worm to that spot, often times I get the fish with the worm.

#50 or #65 power pro for froggin on slop?
No, maybe sacrifice a little distance but I'm in a kayak, I can get anywhere and am always within casting distance of my target.

#50 or #65 power pro for froggin on slop?
I use 65# PP. I fish some heavy weeds and have pulled in a ton of weeds along with the bass. I have no issues casting with it so might as well use the heavier line. I'm also glad I had it on the reel when I hooked my 48" musky while bass fishing in the slop.

Abu Garcia Black Max
That makes sense.

Abu Garcia Black Max
It would work, I have that reel but use it for plastics. Regarding deep diving cranks, I would think you'd want a higher gear ratio to get the bait down with less effort. But, I don't use deep divers very much.

Anyone use 6th Sense Crush 50 or 100 Squarebills?
I've had great luck with the 50's running them over the top of weeds that are a few feet beneath the surface.

40 or 50 lb braid and leader?
I frog in thick stuff, 65 lb braid no leader. Jigs and worms I use 30 lb braid, still no leader.

How many of you use more than 3 rods consistently on a kayak?
I said 4 earlier but yesterday added a fifth. I fish a lot of plastics so added a weigtless rig to go with my weighted since I often switch back and forth depending on depth and vegetation of my current spot. I'm going out Saturday and my pre-rigs will be 1. Weighted t-rig 2. Weightless ri 3. Jerkbait 4. Lipless crank 5. Spinnerbait or chatterbait depending on wind and chop

Wind canceled kayak trip
I went out Monday with the wind constantly around 15-18 mph and gust into the mid 20's. It was no fun, paddling, or casting. A rarely go out for less than 5 hours and this was a long 90 minutes, most of which was spent paddling or trying to stay in place even with an anchor, stake out pole, or both.

Lots of rods vs. Lots of tackle
I think I could get by with limited rods/reels easier than limited lures.

Anyone been shutdown by chatterbait?
I highly doubt it. And if you did I doubt it's enforceable. Unless you're stealing a name.

Blade Bait Love/Hate Relationship
Hollow body frogs. I love the topwater hit I hate that I miss about 1/2 of them.....or the bass miss the bait since it can't be my fault! LOL

Best bag/tackle box for soft plastics
I use a worm binder for all my plastics except swim baits. Those are in a plano box with my swim jigs and hard swim baits.

Best hollow bodied frog?
Booyah Pad Crasher. I like the softness of the body. I've had the most success hook up wise with these.
