Does an upper end Baitcaster make you better?
I would say to some extent higher quality gear will make you better. Rods more than reels. Being able to feel the bottom, weeds, contours, light strikes will definitely help you. How expensive, not sure but I can tell you that when I switched from $60 rods to rods between $130-160 my catch rate went up. The rod won't tell me where to fish and when but I can up my ability to fish the area well.

Looking for a kayak dolly.
I use my kayak a lot, probably 6-7 days per week in the summer. I used a C-Tug all last year and it was great. But it was a pain to get it positioned right on steep ramps or banks, keeping the tug from tipping, getting the kayak in the right spot on it. Easy in the parking lot, not so much at the bank. I always thought the money people spent on the Boonedox Landing Gear to be insane. I bought one this winter and now I understand. That and the Anchor Wizard are the best money I've spent on accessories. Worth every cent.

Copoly Line for Jig & Texas Rig
Until this year I hesitated on using leaders because of knot worry too. I spent a little time practicing the modified double uni and realized my concerns were unwarranted. I now use a flouro leader on braid for a few of my setups.

Yakers what kayak do you run?
I have a Wilderness Radar 115 with a Lowrance Hook7 and Boonedox Landing Gear Pros: Electronics setup Stablility Tracks well Cons: Front hatch is useless Center hatch is useless unless you DIY a container in there No back hatch I give the kayak a 9.5 out of 10 though......the hatch issues aren't that big of a deal

Wacky vs weightless senko
Like those above...if I can due to vegetation I'll go wacky, if I can't then weightless t-rig.

Help me decide on a fish finder for my yak please...
I like the 7's for the bigger screen so I can split screen my pages. I would also strongly suggest GPS. It's nice to follow contour lines and pick out specific spots, especially on new water.

Right Handed Reels for Right Handers?
I'm the same, but I don't even notice switching hands........it's just how I've always done it. Plus I would think you'd reel with your dominant hand.

What frog should I buy?
Yep, the typical 7-03, H/Fast set up for me.

What frog should I buy?
I find the Pad Crasher a bit easier on hook ups than the Spro.

What frog should I buy?
I have a few Spro, I don't have any Livetarget. I can tell you in my preference is Booyah over Spro. So I don't think it's an upgrade to Spro. Just my opinion though. I fish frogs A LOT..........

What frog should I buy?
The Pad Crasher is far and away my favorite. What do you mean by upgrade??

How to fish shallow cover
Come across the top, but drop into apparent holes, spaces, gaps, etc. Great for lily pads and even thick, but patchy hydrilla and other grasses -- let bait fall into gaps and holes (caught one yesterday by teasing a weightless worm across the top of weeds until a cap caused where there was a log laying - worm dropped in the gap onto the log and got slammed.) A place I fish regularly is filled with thick weeds. This is what I do a majority of the time with good success. I generally use a weightless T-rig when doing it.....either a Senko or a Rage Bug.

Color chart?
Fishing from I kayak I usually keep a couple of various color Ocho's under my seat to see what is working that day. One day last summer in a small 6 acre pond that had a recent algae bloom and virtually no visibility I was catching large bass on just about every cast........The Ocho's would last a couple fish and I'd have to replace it. I was just grabbing whichever I touched first. I caught bass on every color from light to dark, flecks, solid, two tone........didn't matter. I stopped counting catches at about the 25th bass. What I'd give for another day like that!

Best action for froggin
I use a H/Fast and as long as both I, and the bass, do their part I have no problems.

Rod vs reel
I guess I'm in the middle on both.....I used to think rod, then a bought and used a more expensive reel and realized what I had been missing. So far my most expensive reel was $170 and my most expensive rod was $139, I use them together and after using it for the first time went back and bought another of each. Not high end but compared to my first combo that cost $70 total I'd say it's getting up there. lol
- Best one rod w/line bass setup
- Matching my rod
