Fun to drive, YES! Fun to fix, NO! I have a VW Jetta 2002.5 with all the cool mods (Chip, Diverter Valve, Tiptronic Chip, etc.) and 265 WHP. I waited till my warranty ran out before modding, but I can tell you this I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER VW OR AUDI PRODUCT! Too many issues, I have become a VW expert cause of all the flaws. I even have a -COM to diagnose problems and resolve them myself. I second the vwvortex.com forum. You'll see tons of issues with the Transmissions and electrical problems. I guess that's what happens when German Engineering is assembled in Mexico!! But if you insist on VW they are safe, fuel efficient cars! Avoid a loaded car with tons of electrical extras, avoid at all cost the tiptronic tranny or CVT. Stick with a manual tranny and the bullet proof 2.0L, 1..8T, 2.0T engines. My next car is either a Toyota or Honda Product!

Finally found a DEAL I couldn't refuse on a house. As you know the market is soft here in S. Florida which puts the you in control as a buyer, so I picked up this little gem. 2.0 Acres, 4,400 Sq. Ft in the main house, 850 Sq. Ft. on the Pool House, in a equestrian community with max HOA fees of $400/Year, access to private lake and canal system full of bucketmouths (Brother caught a 13lb out of it!) and plenty of room for the family. I am stoked now I just need to get a Dixie Chopper to mow the lawn or better yet a herd of pygmy goats/ponies.

50lb Superbraid, 7'2" Cumara MH, High Speed Zillion, Spro, Bully Wa, or Swamp Donky, nothing but bass. Only modification I do is thin out the skirt legs and cut to proportional length (1.5x body) and paint silver hookeye with flat black paint. Although I have noticed the Spro's material is a bit hard from from lure to lure, which may be the culprit. Once you have your delay down you should hook them more often than not on the roof of the mouth with a straight up hook set not a side sweeping motion. Also, I go straight braid to the lure. Hope this helps.

Great catch man. I know exactly where you caught that Big'un at , from the background, I caught about a 8lb in June of 2006. Maybe you should blur out the background like those guys from California do. That place if full of Bucketmouths during the spawn and in summer if its weedy. Try a swimming frog or a Spro. Also, those HUGE wakes there are Grass Carp. Tight Lines!

The tarpon should start showing up strong around the bridges and channels. Make sure you bring at least a 7' med to med/hvy outfit with plenty of line capacity. I like 65lb braid with 30-50lb. floro leader. Some great lures to throw are DOA Shrimp, Terror Eyez, Mullet Imitating Swimbaits, Super Spooks, and Topwater Chuggers. My favorite lure though has to be the glow in dark DOA Shrimp. Also, if you can afford it hire a guide, it will be the trip of a lifetime. Beach fishing is hit or miss depending if you see bird or fish activity. You can also catch food fish around the bridges (i.e. Snappers). Make sure you know the fishing regulations though and don't keep anything that will get you in trouble.

Been there a few times so far and I still think Bass Pro rules as far as fishing department, but the archery/gun department is much better at Gander. Prices are a bit on the higher side though. Don't give up Bassn the drive is much further down to Dania and what you spend on gas you'll end up saving in the long run.
