I’m a big believer in the mgl spool man, not only for lighter lures. Just in general it makes casting so much easier.

Its crazy how much of a difference it makes. I had both side by side, granted the first gen 70 was used but was just serviced and you can really notice the different in gears.

My curado dc reels are great and cast very well. The reel is a little wider then the normal curado k without the dc system in it. Go to a store if your able to and get your hands on whatever is available.

The new curado k 70 mgl also has micro module gears and a mgl spool. The mm gears alone is a nice welcoming upgrade. The gear set in the new steez is the same as the one he's comparing it to if I remember correctly.

I find that the megabass rod really destroys all of its competition, but the G Loomis rod really set out on a conquest to become one of the best rods available.

Also you might want to take into consideration the new rods that abu and okuma were selling, the ones where you can bend the tip of the rod into an "S" shape without it breaking. Savage gear also used the technology. I tried it with my browser rod.

I feel like the rebellion rods are daiwas shot at the zodias. They look and feel like great rods. Let's be honest, its daiwa so I'm sure its a fantastic rod for its price point. I just cannot get use to the silver tatula elite rods.

These stories are wild!!!! Once time I bit down on a chicken wing and the bone got stuck between my teeth and went into my gum, it was so painful I told the fiancee to end it all right there for me.

If the fishy starts to pull drag i just thumb the spool a bit, thats really all it takes to slow them down sometimes. Works for me!

Sold mine without even trying it out. Pinion was a tooth pick and the rest of the reel was just meh. Get a fuego or slx.

I gave up on kastking. The company put so much effort into to worlds fastest geared reel, the second it was released i haven't heard a word about it since from kastking or really anyone. I got mine but after opening it up for the first time I really just forgot about it. I remembered I had it about 5 months after getting it, spooled it up and it sat for another few months. I sold it last month.
