  8. A real shame. When I salt water fish on the Delaware Bay they started to hit all the marinas. Are used to take my rods reels and electronics home after every outing. A little preventive maintenance goes along way. It’s a shame it Hass to be that way but that’s the world we live in. Hope you get everything shipshape soon.
  9. I fish two lakes primarily that are different from each other. one would be a 4” stick bait in sprayed grass the other would be a lewis trap in diamond dust. I mainly bank fish from the bank.
  10. Have a half dozen different brands. The last three weeks, the fish have preferred 1/2 oz. Lewis rattle traps in white shad color. I think they prefer the higher pitch that it emits due to having smaller and more internal shot. Had 16lb. Bag a couple weeks ago. That ain’t bad for Jersey.
  11. Been using 1/2oz. Lewis traps in white shad color. When shad present, all quality fish 2-4 lbs. no shad, I take the skunk. keep at it, it’s a sport not a supermarket. You will have your days.
  12. A weightless texas riged stick bait. I fish these conditions and have over 100 bass this season.
  13. Where numbers- hands down a weightless stick bait.
  14. Nickel and blue Little Cleo or a rattle trap
  15. I would throw it on the bottom with a Carolina rig and blow the worm up with air on a #2 hook
  16. The Bill Lewis rattle trap. Been around 35 years original rapala first used 54 years ago
  17. I use small rippin rap in April here in Jersey. Your mileage may vary.
  18. If I’m fishing stick baits I’ll mix several colors in the Stiko BPS plastic box they came in and include three extra Gami EWG hooks. If I’m fishing lues ie: I’ll put three extra in an altoids tin. same with in lines etc. slide it in your pocket and your good to go bank fishing. Light, non intrusive, and organized. The rest of the tackle stays in the trunk of the car.
  19. I’ve gone custom pour/injection with all my soft plastics. I get exactly what I want down to the flake, quality, no more expensive, and help the little guy. After three years, we’ve developed a friendship of sorts.
  20. Bless me Father for I have sinned. Again & again ... you know.
  21. When I say I will never use all this stuff in my lifetime, I say - what else would I do with my money. Sort of like confession. I feel good and buy some more.
  22. When I have bait busting, instead of matching hatch I just use a spoon. Little cleo in fact. Hammered nickel and blue in size of bait being chased.
  23. I’ve used the 2” on a floating fly approach and caught many bass. Largest was 5lbs in Feb. several years ago.
