  1. Getting ready for spring my spring restock. Does BPS or anyone else have a sale next month.
  2. Sprayed grass stiko. I have caught hundreds of bass on it. I fish 200 days a year. Use it now 90%of the time at my local muni lake.
  3. Baking or spice section of supermarket
  4. Take a look at the Rapala Brat. Balsa interior and plastic coated. Makes it a little more bullet proof. Best of both worlds. They have a 3’ and 6’ dive to models and about 15 color selections for $10.
  5. Less dense weight got me thinking. Rotating jig head minus the hook. Anybody got a better idea?
  6. I have had good success with Little Cleo’s in hammered nickel and blue. When shad are present its lights out. 1/3 oz on moderate fast rod.
  7. Use a Maribor jig or berkley powerbait minnow under float. I’ve caught bass up to five lbs.
  8. My local muni lake is highly pressured. Everyone throwing stikbaits for months and fish are on to it. Tied on an online blue fox spinner with a prism blade and decided to fish the middle of the lake. Had four bites and three fish. It was a hoot getting the rod jerked like a ton of bricks.
  9. If you are of that persuasion, I would use an owner mosquito hook. Small but extremely strong. =<3” #2 4-7” size 1-1/0. Very sharp And strong and easy to extract with no damage.
  10. Sprayed grass, watermelon black flake have done it for me.
  11. Midway shipped my reel nine days ago. Still waiting. Their tracking is poor. Shows it was turned over to post office three days ago for delivery with no further updates. Yuk.
  12. If you Search worlds worst fishing sunGil color on YouTube there’s a video of what you want. If you contact that guy and send him a picture of your exact color he’ll make it for you if he has the mold in your size. Not expensive either. Good luck
  13. Weightless 3” stick bait.
  14. I use it on stickbaits in pads. Only light color I use. My dark colors are varied.
  15. I’ve gravitated away from dingers three years ago (too light, too stiff) to stiko. My home lake highly pressured so I mainly use 3”. BPS has a good color assortment in that size. Weightless in pad holes from shore. Color of choice is sprayed grass account for 90% of my stick bait catches. Five packs a year does it. Average 3-5 fish per bait. I find $9/pack to be unreasonable Mr. Yamamoto!
  16. 3” stiko weightless (sprayed grass) mouse small rubber band leg popper
  17. Find a large used ball point pen in your junk drawer. Unscrew the front half. Vwala
  18. Yep, spring and fall when shad are present. Can be lights out. Hammered blue and nickel little cleo 1/3 oz. had 22 strikes one afternoon in September.
  19. I tend to favor Little Cleo in 1/3 hammered blue and nickel. Two of my top five most epic fish catching days have come on this spoon. Switch out the hooks. I guess u go with what u have confidence in. Catch em up.
  20. St Croix Triumph 7’ M/L. Multi purpose trout rod. $120
  21. Three to four hours a day, five days a week. Fish about 11 months of year.
  22. It happens, especially on discontinued legendary items. Some of the Abu - Blue Yonder and Mag Elites 6500 series go for more than what I originally paid for them. I won’t part with mine as they were sparingly used and at my age $400 or so doesn’t move the needle much.
  23. Lake Fork Flutter Spoon
  24. Little Cleo hammered blue and nickel
