  1. I mostly use 14# Sniper for my bladed jigs. Love it.
  2. After reading through this thread, might I suggest you find a Snakehead Resource Forum. Maybe you can find the answer that you seek there. ?‍♂️
  3. The 3/8 oz fishes the same way.
  4. This is my exact set-up, except with a 10# fluoro leader.
  5. Just doing some inventory. Proof that the Archelon works. Here's some of my stash. I'm good for a little while.
  6. Picking only 10 is tough. No particular order (except for the first 2...those are my favorites). Berkley Pit Boss Jackall Archelon Keitech Swing Impact Fat GY Senko Strike King Rage Bug Jackall Sasuteki Craw NetBait T-Mac Worm Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver GrandeBass Airtail Rattler Zoom Brush Hog
  7. Few weeks ago I caught a bass in some rocks. As I was taking the hooks out, it pooped this out. Obviously not a surprise since crawfish are a main forage of bass. What was surprising is how much it stunk!
  8. Smallies don't mess around, either. (not my pic)
  9. Always wanted to try Tatsu, but I'm so happy with Sunline Sniper FC that I don't know if it's worth paying the extra coin. As far as non-fluoro lines go, I like YZH and Sufix Advance.
  10. Is your spool tension loose or tight when spooling?
  11. If I'm picking one, it's the Keitech Swing Impact FAT, easily.
  12. Not to hijack, but what's your guys' favorite shaky head jig head? I hear people say Siebert's has a good one. We talking about the Zenith or another?
  13. I usually use an underspin on sunny days (regardless of water clarity). If cloudy-mostly cloudy, I usually don't fish an underspin.
  14. Curado DC can help you out... edit- ^ He beat me to it.
  15. Looking to get a new spinning rod for Senkos (wacky). Was eyeing the Sierra. I know Dobyns rod's rating can be a bit slower than others, with casting at least. I'm looking at the 7' medium/fast (703SF). Does anyone know if this feels like a normal fast action, or should I jump up to the med-heavy? Ideally I've always like medium/fast for wacky rigs. Thanks.
  16. Forget the time-stamped part of the video....people need to watch the very first catch(es) at the 2:05 mark!
  17. Sportsman's Outfitters has 20% off Dobyns. Fury and Colt excluded.
  18. 15% off. When you go to your cart you'll see the discount.
  19. I'm looking for an all-around rod for my nephew. He likes how the TP-1's look, and I've heard good things about them. Have you (or anyone @Manly Studson) fished the 7'2" or 7'3" med-heavy?
  20. TW sale has started earlier than advertised.
  21. I use mine for jerks in the spring. Works great.
  22. Kistler Helium is around $300 or less when you catch a sale. TW has a sale starting tomorrow or Fri I think. Of all my rods, this is definitely the most sensitive. Use it exclusively for t-rigs. My jigs are thrown on an Expride, which is a great rod. But I still think the Helium is more sensitive.
  23. Bone, black and chrome. You'll be set.
