  1. I have a Helium from a few years back (North Fork blank) that I absolutely LOVE. Can you compare the new blanks to those, or didn't you have any of the older models?
  2. 6th Sense Crush 50X is a great bait that comes in a RIDICULOUS amount of bluegill colors.
  3. Like others have said, the 4" is the best all-around. And definitely fits the Chatterbait well, as well as a swim jig. But today I paired one up with a Missile Baits Mini Flip jig. I trimmed it down to desired length, and it paired up perfectly.
  4. Very quietly. (I'll see my way out)
  5. Finally got a day where the wind wasn't blowing 25-30 mph. This spring has been wiiiindy here in WI. Got this girl on a Vision 110 in about 20 ft of water. She weighed in at 4.7 lbs. Caught a bunch of smaller ones up shallow. Assuming they were mainly males.
  6. 50 seems like the magic number. But mid-high 50's is when you can expect to see more consistent action.
  7. Agree with the other. Albino and Whiteback Shad are good places to start. Maybe start out with the 6" and go from there? There's also the Freestyle, which you can rig weedless.
  8. Sunline Sniper is great. I've heard good things about InvizX. I think InvizX may be a little more subtle from what I've read. Sniper, I believe, has less stretch and more abrasion resistant. If you're talking straight fluoro on a spinning reel, InvizX may be the way to go.
  9. Great minds think alike! I also like the Pro Latch boxes, which I believe you've also mentioned you do in the past.
  10. Just a quick tip that I've done for years that I thought I'd pass along. I place these Dry & Dry silica dry packets in all of my utility boxes to absorb any moisture that may have found it's way into the box. I still try to let baits air dry before putting them away, but sometimes they may not be fully dry. I never have any rust issues. You can get 200 packets for $10.99 on Amazon. I use the 1 gram size. I just replace them at the beginning of every season. I probably use more than I really need to, but they're so cheap I tend to get a little generous with them. https://www.amazon.com/Packets-Premium-Silica-Desiccant-Dehumidifiers/dp/B00DNRI6HQ
  11. My buddy is a St Croix guy and has been looking for a new jerkbait rod. How is the tip on that model? Is it more soft or pretty fast?
  12. I hear ya on the Sierra 734. I have Shimano Expride's and Adrena, Megabass Orochi's etc, and the 734 is still right up there for me as far as my favorite rods go.
  13. Swim it. T-Rig. Wacky.
  14. Thanks for your great contribution, as usual. Like I said, I didn't know if there was something with the currency exchange rate or what. I even said it's too good to be true, but then saw places where it said it was a reputable site.
  15. I figured as much. I never order from the Japan sites, so I never know how big of a difference the currency is. And this being Malaysia, I figured I'd ask. Off the bat I thought "nah, this can be legit". But like I said, after a few Google searches it sounded like it was a legit site. Ah well, one can dream.
  16. Anybody know anything about this site? Some Google searches say it's legit. Based out of Malaysia. But the prices are way too good to be true. GLoomis rods for $60+USD. Tatula LT for $50+USD. They also have older models of rods/reels. Shipping is over $100...but you can get free shipping if you wanna wait a month. Something smells....fishy.
  17. Those prices are crazy for some off brand. Tho as Aaron_H said, at the bottom of the page it says Lew's. Since when does Lew's. This this is their Sprayin Shad popping bait. Looks like a knockoff to the River2Sea Bubble Popper. Except this version is $5 more. They do come with KVD Triple Grips, so there's that I guess. But there's no dimensions of the product listed anywhere on the site. Never change, Dick's.
  18. Never heard of them. Went on their site to check them out. Without ever seeing them in person or fishing them, they get a hard pass from me. $15 for their hard baits, including their lipless. Willing to bet a Red Eyed Shad is a better product at a fraction of the cost. They also have a Whopper Plopper 90 knockoff that's more expensive than the actual River2Sea Whopper Plopper.
  19. White spinnerbait with double white willows.
  20. Sounds good to me. And fish it like a jig.
  21. Carolina Rig. Now, I haven't fished it a ton, so there's that. But I doubt I'll ever fish it again.
