Here's a question for BR members.                                         If you were limited to fishing only one type of plastic worm for the entire season, which would it be?              Choose any color you like, but only one brand and style. What would be your top choice?

You certainly made it tough in picking just one. If that's all I can use I would go with a Zoom U Tail.

Green pumpkin 5” Senko.  Stained water? Dye it. Ned rig?  Chop in half. Heavy cover? 1 oz. weight (or smaller)Texas rig. Fish deep? Drop shot or neko rig. So much you can do.

Tough call, but I’d pick a Zoom Trick in watermelon seed.

6" roboworm. Can do it all with that worm

It might be a full 2 years since the last time I threw a worm that wasn’t a zoom speed worm.

Around grass and in shallow water I really don’t even consider another worm.

Mag finesse worm. Shakyhead, dropshot, wacky rig, Texas-rigged, weightless. So many options with this one.

Ain't a dern worm!

I havnt actually used them in a long time.  However, one worm to rule them all.  A Berkley gulp crawler in the natural or pumkim color.  First plastic I ever used consistently.  T-rigging it I caught a bunch of river fish as well as big bass

Oh snap! Missed the worm part. But I’ve actually fished it with the paddle tail snipped off and t rigged just like you would a worm. For a proper worm I’d go with a netbait tmac, bama bug.

how are you guys fishing them?  I picked up a pack of zman turbo fattyz which looked good to me and look similar to the speed worm. I was thinking Texas rigged and swim it through grass beds and edges.

thanks

Geez...

One and only is an obvious choice...GYCB 5" Senko

Choose YOUR favorite color...I like Green Pumpkin and Watermelon

RI Skinny Dipper purple smoke with owner 4o underspin. I have caught so many fish on this bait over the years and my most recent big fish(7lbs 2oz) came off of it. Caught it saturday.

Shoot a message to Mike L or perhaps he will comment in here. He told me about very good techniques with these worms. Can run it over lily pads, dropping it into any holes, can let it fall to bottom and then slow reel back. Can neko rig them. Can cut the front part off and use them as a swim jig trailer. Can carolina rig them. Yes, you can swim through grass as well. I've caught bass on every one of these methods.

Forgot one. Shaky head too. Heck just insert "any rig" into here. I like ultravibe worms because they seem to have a tendency to get bigger bites for me, especially the magnum size

I think I’d go with a Zman elaztech for durability. Definitely not a yamamoto. It might not even last one fish.

What’s a worm?

If it had to be a worm it would be a water jelly NetBait finesse worm. I own a lot of worms but they rarely see the water anymore.

Also is a Senko a worm or a stick bait? I personally don’t consider them worms.

Yep, Z-man Big Trd for me.

For my choice, I'll pick an old one. Culprit Original 7.5 in junebug color.
