What did you learn on the water this week?
I learned that fish will congregate in 35 foot of water on nothing. No structure whatsoever. And I mean a lot of fish. Which makes this thing we love even more complicated to me. Because I offshore fish structure quite a bit. And this was nothing. Did manage to catch a mixed bag of largies, spots, and yellow bass there.

Hello from Arkansas!
Welcome aboard. Always good to have fellow natural staters around.

Freshwater jellyfish
I've seen some on Ouachita and in a pond that drains through a series of ditches into Ouachita. I was thoroughly amazed when I saw them last year. Had never heard of them.

Paddle Tale Swimbait help
I love swimbaits. From the small keitechs to 6-7 inch basstrix style ones. Can't go wrong with either the keitechs or rage swimmers. What kind of paddle tail are you using? What size and weight hook? All this matters to an extent.

Falcon BooCoo SR Rods ?
I have a falcon bucoo and quite a few other falcon rods. Yes they are light for their rating but you can adjust for that. They're solid rods for the price.

Keitech alternatives
I'd look at the strike king rage swimmers also. A little more durable and wallet friendly. I picked up a few packs a while back for $2 a piece at real mart

Can yall Id this lot?
The 1 blue reels are Wright and McGill Brent Chapman reels that I've only ever see on combos at walmart.

I'm pretty sure this is the biggest brownie I've caught all year. Haven't been fishing the creek as much.

New tournament circuit announced today
That's an absolutely awesome comparison. A lot of them are not burning the bridge because a permanent spot on the bpt not guaranteed so some may have to go back. A lot of all this revolves around bass not taking care of their anglers. As entry fees and expenses have gone up the prize money has not although it's been promised. And I imagine Scott Martin didn't get invited because the only ppl that like him are his family and fans. I hate to bash a man I don't know but the cups been here twice and word spreads.

2000 javelin renegade 18
Any of y'all have experience with this model of boat? I can get a real good deal on it. $5200 to be exact. I have a mechanic going to check it out with me. I'm almost positive it's an all composite hull. Has a brand new trolling motor and a few other things. Just looking for some input from some of y'all more experienced boater here. Thanks

Mono on a Baitcaster?
I know I have 15-20 lb braid and 8 lb mono on my spinning setups. I have braid on one baitcaster the rest have fluorocarbon ( seaguar invisx) co poly ( p line cxx) or berkley big game. Now the lbs depends on the rod

Where did you catch them today?
On a ledge in about 14 foot of water and on a brush pile against a dock in 6 foot of water yesterday. Nothing picture worthy and not a whole lot just fish. It was fun though

Favorite and most productive Fall Lure ?
A rig or a Carolina rig with a smokin blue centipede. Either one will put absurd numbers in the boat in the fall here.

This is never how you wanna see your 4 year old. But I'll give him this he handled it well. Didn't throw a fit didn't spaz when I took the bait off. Was not letting me pull it out with braid though. So to the clinic we went. I'll be lucky to keep him from jarring it and taking it for show and tell.- B.A.S.S. buying FLW... Will it happen soon?

This!!!! I like this!!!! WPS!!!!- What does it feel like to catch double digit bass?
I've caught 1. 10lbs 3 oz. Haven't caught anything else over 8. What'd it feel like? It felt like it swam right at me. Because it did. Literally almost swam right up on the bank. I was so excited I took off running with it (still attached to the rod) halfway to the truck. Then unhooked it left the rod and ran back to the pond to call my buddy to bring scales. 5 minutes of lipping and holding it in the water and it was confirmed. Never ever forget it- My Take On What The Milford Bass Were Doing (LENGTHY)
Luckily we had a pretty wet week last week so I got to watch quite a bit. I found myself cheering you on like the hometown football team on Friday night lol. You experienced something most only dream of and was full of pressure and handled it like a seasoned vet. You showed true class throughout the whole event highs and lows. Great things await you Nolan. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it. - Post a photo a day!
