I was in the same boat, but went with the Daiwa Steez Bottom Contact rod for an all-around jig rod, haven't got it yet but I gather it's not the lightest option but balances well with a light reel so it works out at the end of the day. Never tried a Kistler rod before, but the only bad thing I've really heard is their price skyrocketed along with the demand for them. The first step to finding the perfect jig rod is figuring out the perfect power and action.

I was actually hoping I would be able to simply change the card on the order. It took me 90 minutes to get everything added to my cart. At this point, I'm not going to bother. I have the cash for it, I was just hoping to put it on a card that has 0% and pay it off over the course of December. Well I got disconnected around 35-40 minutes in the first call. I just hung up the second try.

Well, so much for cancelling that order, I can't even get a hold of anyone at Tackle Warehouse. I've been on hold for 2.5 hours. Oh well, I'll manage.

On the items that were not discounted in my cart / on the site, they were discounted in my confirmation email and I can also go to order history and they are discounted there for what it's worth.

It's the most I spent, largely due to buying a Steez SV reel but other than that it's almost all jigs, terminal tackle and soft plastics. Getting the kids their own supply for xmas this year and tried to get enough soft plastics to last most of the year. Not sure if you saw my edit to that post, but I put it on the wrong card and might have to cancel the order and do it all gain ?‍♂️

I got mine within about 30-45 seconds. I might contact someone at TW and see if it even went through - or at least go to your order history and make sure it's there if you didn't already. I had 122 things to add to my cart, took over 90 minutes. EDIT: ...and I put it on the wrong card and I'm going to have to cancel it and do it all over again.... #$%^&!

Yeah, with some brands they aren't allowed to advertise the discounted price. So it shows up in your email.

I can't even add the items in my wishlist from my cart. I made it about 25% the way through with a lot of reloading and now when I hit add to cart, it tells me an error occurred so I have to refresh the page to ensure it didn't actually get added to my card and then I have to try again and it's failing 80-90% of the time now. A lot of 503/Service Unavailable errors as well.

The EchoMap UHD 93sv was my first fish finder, but I've never felt the imaging wasn't clear enough. They have definitely made strides since the original 93SV, and the UHD 93sv is a step up from the plus. You should be able to go watch some Youtube videos or search from some imaging from a UHD 93sv and see if it suits your liking - that's what I did before I bought mine. And they upgraded the GT54 transducer (which I have) for next season - no idea what the GT56 changes, but it might be even better!

I used to smoke a lot of meat, but I largely smoke fish and chicken as I no longer eat red meat these days. Here is an easy recipe that is pretty easy and will impress your friends. Take a spoon roast or a pork roast and a place it in a zip lock bag. We have a lot of spots like this. You have to cast side arm and keep it low and you won't have a problem, but every now and then I forget.

A swim senko or yum swimming dinger works pretty well! Start with 5" and you can trim them down a little bit.

The Mojo Bass is also a very solid option. I would go with a Mojo Bass over a Fury easily. They're super light - as light as many much more expensive rods in fact. If I had to compare the Mojo Bass to the Sierra, the Mojo Bass does transmit vibrations more, but I feel that past an initial weak bite I can tell what's going on more with the Sierra. I personally would still go for the non micro guides version in the event you ever find yourself in a scenario wanting to tie on a leader unless you're 100% sure it's just for throwing frogs and jigs into heavy cover. I just think of the time where I bring it on my kayak, go to a weedy area and they aren't biting and then go skip docks and the 735C isn't such a complete broomstick where it couldn't pass as a casting jig rod if need be. That's just my personal take though, you know what you're doing with it better than I would.

As for micro, it's your personal preference. If you run straight mono/copoly/fluoro then microguides are fine but I don't think they're a requirement. If you run braid or might ever run braid, microguides make it difficult to tie on a leader so I would not get microguides in that situation. And on a heavy rod, I would see myself switching reels between 50-65# braid and 17-20# fluoro depending on conditions. Mid-micro guides are a great compromise but unfortunately they are not an option on the Sierra line. As far as Fury vs Sierra, if there is any way you can swing a Sierra do it. I got my son a couple of Sierras and they're very solid rods - maybe not the very best in the price range, but they're competitive. I got to compare some otherwise identical Fury and Sierra models in a store and I could tell simply by tapping the end on something that the Sierras were more sensitive.

I might do a few kayak tournaments here and there, this year was too crazy but maybe next year but I largely am not a tournament angler. I just like to go out and fish, learn about the lake I'm fishing and try to catch the most fish / largest fish that I can. It's my peace and relaxation.

As in it's not an entire brand or website on sale just a single item. But at a good price.

If you want to throw it on a heavy power rod, why do you want a finesse jig? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a finesse jig, which lets you throw it on lighter line and also maybe use a slightly lighter rod than you may otherwise use for a jig of the same weight, as long as the rod can still throw the weight that is. I mean if you're looking for a jig with a slightly lighter hook that you can still use on a heavy rod, instead of using a flipping jig with the largest hook on the market, you could try a pitching jig that still has a heavy hook but not a finesse hook.

I almost always use dark green braid, but I've had a bright lime green which you can certainly see easier.
