Thanks guys! I replaced the original size 1 owner ST-41 to a lighter wire size 1/0 owner ST-36 treble. I left the front 1/0 ST-41 treble on the lure. That size 1 treble on the back just seemed a bit small.
  3. Do you guys replace the back treble hook on this bait? The second treble seems a bit small to me.
  4. That's possible.
  5. The lake I fish is very clear and I never have see a bass like that. Here you can see how clear the water is (yes those are all bass )
  6. The fish was caught in Japan and weighed approx. 9lb. As far as I know they dont have spots in Japan but they do have smallies. Meanmouth?
  7. Looks like a LMB to me but I never have seen a bass with such markings. Awesome looking fish!
  8. Better fish that thing on a swimbait rod, must weigh a 1/2 pound.
  9. The kickin craw is only 4". Works great as a jig trailer or t-rigged. Great bait for cold water and as a trailer for finesse jigs.

Thanks fourbizz! Have you caught anything with the bait? In what position does the bait sink?

  14. Almost always, but it depends where you're fishing. You can't compare Texas with Maine. Yes! I mostly fish smaller baits in winter. Around here large baits are ignored in winter. I don't change colors though. No. I mostly fish these baits on a t-rig. No. Lizards will catch fish all year long. Winter small, summer large. No. Uphill is the way to go. No. I agree with you on that. No. Why are worms still catching fish? Yes. But they also catch small fish.
  15. High end tackle is pretty, that's all (and I love it)!

  21. The G-Splash is a dink magnet just like the Lucky Craft S8 popper. I prefer the Lucky Craft Big G. Even 1lb. fish won't hesitate to hit this bait. http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=1472&name=BIG-G&manufacturename=LUCKY%20CRAFT

Even small bass will hit big baits. Right at the end of this video a bass is caught with a huge swimbait. http://vodpod.com/watch/941357-d-impact-documentary-22
