    WELCOME and well done!
  2. I am pretty sure he will be soon on his way : Especially since he now knows that both of us have befriended a particular 5+Kg bass (she always comes to check us out at a particular position in a certain reservoir - one of the most magnificent sights I have ever seen!)... One of these days I will come to Cyprus and catch that 5+kg right in front of you guys ;D ;D ;D! That fish must be the european record, right? The biggest bass that I have seen pics of came from Spain (Embalse de Guadalcacin) and weighed 4kg. exactly! I have heard of bigger fish beeing caught but have seen no proof! What is the european record (with proof)? Like I said, you guys are allways welcome over here!

  7. I told you so! Maybe your wife will buy you some more ;D ;D!
  8. I got this bait recently and it looks awesome! Has the features of the Megabass Anthrax and the action of the Megabass Vision 110 combined! Can't wait to try it!

Looks good! Sub-surface walk the dog baits have been around for quite a while so it isn't really anything new. Here are 3 examples which have the same action: Jackall Water Monitor Lucky Craft Wander Megabass Coayu Slide Sinker These lures look like topwater baits but are sinking.
  10. That's great! Congrats!
  11. Great fish, great pics! Congrats1
  12. Well Cybasser, you were right about big lures! I went this afternoon to a spot and found some big bass cruising around some boats. I tried regular baits and lost a good fish of about 2kg late in the evening. I kept getting big bass following my lure but they would not take it. I took all my stuff and brought it to my car took a rod out of my trunk which had a Fish Arrow Flat Jack tied on and went back to same spot to make that famous last cast. It's almost 9pm by now and guess what, a big bass hits my lure and me without camera or scales! It's allways like that! When you do get that big one you have no camera with you! I estimate the fish was about 3,5 to 4kg! I was bigger then my PB of 3580gr. but I will never know for sure how heavy that fish was, all I now it was huge for around here! This is the lure which I caught it with:
  13. Good line for a good price! That's my opinion.
  14. I've used those things in saltwater and they are mean! They actually bite you when you try to hook them!
  15. What size Chug Bug where you using? I'm thinking of using a saltwater Chug bug on my next trip! Maybe that's how I can get the big one's?

    WELCOME!
  17. Daniel, give them a shot with the largest topwater lures you can get. The type of topwater doesn't really matter - it could be popper, spook, muskie jitterbugs, whatever. If the area has large bass, and judging from your photos you know where to find the large ones, press them on. You might get fewer bites, but the results are worth it!!! I will try that! This is the lure I'm going to use on my next trip: Evergreen Amazon
  18. Congrats, well done!
  19. Very interesting report! Must be a blast to catch such a big fish on a topwater bait! Congrats!
  20. Walleye Assassin?
  21. Any t-rigged creature bait.
  22. I tried that, but I find a bit confusing! I also did not find any Heddon Dying Quiver.
