  1. I tried a Quantum many years ago when I was fairly young. I had a $40 Daiwa & a $60 Quantum when I first starting fishing. The Quantum died just over a year. The Daiwa is still working after 15 years and no problems. I understand at the time it was what I could afford and it got me on the water. All I have now are Daiwa reels and have never had a issue with them. I like to stick with Daiwa or Shimano.

  3. My larger fish were on bladed jigs & square bills. Quantity wise was the the buzzbait & frogs for me.
  4. I believe these are the only 2 sizes that are available that I know of. I could be wrong Bomber Length Weight Weight Square A 2" 3/8oz 0-3ft Square A 1-5/8" 1/4oz 0-3ft
  5. This hilarious loss of a bait when you just tied a knot and you drop the bait in the water. Then you realize you cut the line in the wrong spot.
  6. I spent all my money before Christmas made it.?
  7. I have braid on everything except my crankbait/treble hook lures/jerkbait which has mono.
  8. K- Keitech Easy Shiner
  9. I'd recommend Fuego CT 6:3:1 since you already have one Fuego to match with.
  10. I already spent all my money over the season buying new rods/reels. All I bought was a reel cover & trailer hooks. But my best Christmas gift I received a couple weeks ago was a clear Brain MRI ?
  11. Sorry I had to have 6 setups, only one rod I own over $100.00 was a new Dobyns Sierra which was brand new for $122. All of my other rods & reels were anywhere from $60-$100.00 so I like finding deals? I can pretty much cover any fishing situations with these 6 setups. Daiwa Fuego CT 6:3:1/ Dobyns Fury 705CB Daiwa Fuego CT 6:3:1/ Lamiglas XP Bass 704 Daiwa Tatula CT 7:3:1/ Dobyns Sierra 703C Daiwa Fuego CT 7:3:1/ Dobyns Sierra 734C Daiwa Fuego CT 7:3:1/ Falcon BuCoo SR BRC-717 Daiwa Fuego LT Spinning 6:2:1/ Daiwa Tatula TTU721MHFS
  12. I'd go Fuego CT mounted on a Falcon BuCoo SR 7' MH or HVY depending on your intended application. That can put you around $170-185 depending where you buy from.
  13. Has the reel ever been cleaned/serviced? It might be a option instead of buying a new reel, but it's your money.
  14. I have 3 of the Sierra rods and 1 Fury 705cb. I've been happy with all of them. Also try calling Dobyns they might have some used/blemish rods. I bought a couple of the Sierra models for only $100.00 shipped to my door. They were in very great condition, you couldn't really tell that they weren't new.
  15. I don't think you should have any fitment issues.
