  1. BPS finesse combo works great. phluegar also makes a combo similar to this sold at academy. only problem is that it only holds about 100 yrds of 8ld test
  2. call me crazy but heres what i did: medium action rod w/ a 6.1.1 casting reel 8 lb fireline crystal dean rojas bronzeeye frog in open water a great set up until u start gettin big fish casts great i havent seen any problems w/ color yet because i dont only fish frogs w/ it. good to use for light weighted baits or chatter baits
  3. use red colored hooks for shakey or alabama rigs. it makes a HUGEdifference dead serious.
  4. the baits just plain....straight up.....SUCKi dont understand why they would even put those on the market they go right back up to the surface once you start reeling. the only good thing is the spare bodies for then you can use on a spinnerbait. they really work well too
  5. so your fishing that rig on spinning gear?
  6. i like fishin a big 4/0 or 5/0 for most of those but for the trick worms try a 3/0 offset worm hook. NO EWG'S!!
  7. no spro bucktail jigs? you cant beat those for suspended bass and dropping between spaces in boatdocks your cant really get to
  8. I am looking for a combo where i can pitch shore lines throw a spinnerbait/buzzbait/chatterbait and fish some frogs. what rod and reel would you suggest? prefferably a 7.1.1 ratio reel and a Mh rod with a lot of give to it for setting the hooks on a spinnerbait? also while you are at it typing a response give me some suggestions on line for this new setup
  9. so would a craw papi from net bait work since it has a tube like body or would it need some super glue

if u want a green soft plastic worm....try using LPT scents spray. what a waste of money. im thinking about sending them an email about this

    red hooks are the bomb
  12. what kinds of things do you put on a spot remover jighead? maybe a craw or some sort of worm?
  13. i dont have any but from what it looks on tv they dont weight enough to make an effective cast and they bodies would fall off if the clip was moved slightly
  14. skinny worms like trick worms and extremly small finesse worms. i would try a strait shanked hook for those worms and use a strait shanked hook EVERYTIME you fish a hula grub
  15. i like the cinnamon or green pumpin black flake
  16. ive got a few of these laying around. what are any advantages to them over single bladed buzzbaits these are the ones i have http://cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=null&id=0037439120874a&navCount=3&podId=0037439&parentId=cat20307&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IH&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20307&hasJS=true
  17. a firetiger terminator double willow spinnerbait with firetiger blades or a trick worm with a nail in the back

try a green pumpkin trick worm or a netbait craw papi. for the trick worm i would fish with a 1/4 and "hop" the jig. with the craw papi work it slower like a crawfish just waiting to be eaten and also with the craw you will have to put a little super glue because of the tube like body let me know if this helped
  19. QUANTUM TOUR EDITION. 7:1:1 cant beat it
  20. i think bandit has done a pretty good job with their crankbaits and you cannot beat a ratl-trap. fish it in 2 ft or 200 ft and you will catch fish
  21. i bought some in 12 lb test. it seems to backlash alot more than others i have used. im using it for sightfishing with a 3/8 oz tungsten weight and a strike king flipping tube in white/with blood at the end. those things are amazing im thinkin about just stocking up on nothing but strike king baits and maybe some zoom stuff too.
  22. zoom trick worms and plenty of them. texas rig, unweighted, shaky head, carolina rig, split shot rig,and drop shot them!!!
  23. alright heres the truth WHEN FISH HIT A SPINNER BAIT THEY ARE HITTING THE FLASH AND VIBRATION OF THE BAIT. The head doesnt matter. Dodge guy, i buy 1/2 spinner baits and melt the paint off when i get new ones. they they straighter without it
  24. what advantages does this line have over regular triline long cast mono?
