Trailer for kayak?
The Malone wings are bolt on and go but if you decide to get them go with the mega wing as they are reinforced and have less flex.

Cooking/Baking Thread
M little electric Bluetooth smoker bit the dust close to 3 yrs ago. I finally replaced it with a pellet smoker. I did a batch of chili mac for a first smoke. The wife wanted a meatloaf so I did one stuffed with mozzarella and spinach. I also did my first cold smoke on some cheese, jury is still out on that one as they have been vacuum sealed and need at least 5 more days.

TOP GUN: Maverick
Top Gun was the first movie I saw at the theater after my a accident, loved it, and it takes a lot for me to like a movie these days.

Your Eyesight
Wore contacts for 30+ yrs and due to dry eyes can no longer wear them. I’ve always used glasses as a backup. My eyesight has changed 3 times since my accident in May 2021, gets expensive buying new glasses all the time. Before that my eyesight didn’t change for over 10 years. I just ordered yet another pair of progressive Oakley from Eyebuydirect for $200 shipped so not terrible this round. I’m hoping my eyesight has settled though.

Do you have a kayak with a bottom rudder, and do you use your truck bed to haul it?
I have a 10’ Native Slayer that I basically unload on the rudder, surprisingly I haven’t broke anything yet. I do have landing gear wheels but where I usually launch the angle from the bank is too much to use the wheels. I use the wheels to load and unload at the house then leave them there. I also have the c-tug but I dont use it.

Radios While Fishing?
Only tunes for me is nature, I enjoy the peace and quiet while on the kayak. After doing speech, physical and occupational therapy for around a year after my accident it turns out kayak fishing has been my best therapy mentally.

my kayak knives.
I have a Gerber River Shorty attached to my PFD. Thankfully I haven’t had to use it except to cut line out of branches that other people have left.
