Pretty neat estate sale find
We are reselling to get by after I was almost killed at work and haven’t been able to work since. It’s a bit creepy going through people’s belongings but I have gotten used to it at this point. You never know what you will find, haven’t found much fishing gear though.

Pretty neat estate sale find
So the wife and I went to an estate sale Friday where everything was literally free. My wife picked up an old hymn book from the 30s and found this old post card dated 1950. I never knew Firestone had their name on an outboard, pretty neat!

Xmas Present Request Issues
Yak gadget has a nice pole style anchor system. Don’t go with red/green Navi lights unless you have an electric trolling motor. I’d say without a doubt pedals would be my #1.

I was able to take the kayak out for a few hours today. I thought I had set the hook on my PB bass so you can imagine my delight when it surfaced with its ugly face. It was a fun little battle on a Ned rig with a 6’ medium rod and Daiwa size 2000 reel.

Unsecured guns
@slonezp federal buildings as an example like a court house with metal detectors. Also most places of work aren’t going to let you carry when you are on the clock. Before my accident I worked at a massive warehouse that was very physically demanding. It got hot in the summer and would have been very difficult to carry without printing. I dont have any pocket guns.

Unsecured guns
I drive a soft top Wrangler that stays naked most of the year. I have an under-seat lock box that’s made for it and is bolted under the seat. The factory seat bolts are half regular bolts and half torx,it was not easy to install. I leave my pistol in there often when I can’t carry. IMHO it would take quite a bit of effort and the correct tools to break into it.

Vehicle maintenance and women drivers
My wife is rough on brakes as well, she needs to let off the gas and start braking sooner but she won’t. She bought her Wrangler new and got 50k on the brakes before needing replaced. I replaced pads and rotors with Powerstop thats geared more for towing, of course, she doesn’t tow anything.

Rate the song above you
Having a brain injury has been bittersweet for me. I have forgotten music that I have listened to countless times. The sweet part is finding and hearing them again feels a bit like hearing them for the first time.I get some memories flooding in and lots of emotions. This song is one I found again this week from years ago.

you keep cash in your wallet?
For years I rarely have had any cash on me. After my accident last May and not being able to work the wife and I have started picking/flipping to make money. We go to tons of yard sales that are cash only so these days we hit up the ATM often.

It wasn't worth it.
Several years ago my neighbor had a small wasp nest at the edge of his house on the soffit, after getting stung a few times he asked me for help. We devised a plan for him to get in the very back of his 4-runner with the hatch window rolled down. I was going to back it up to his house and he was going to spray them with a can in each hand. We agreed that when he said go I hammered on the gas to get us away. I backed up, he sprayed and screamed go,go,go I purposely waited a bit Lol. We were always messing with each other and talking smack, he cussed me for weeks after that one.

No More License
I sure do wish my parents or grandparents would have got me a lifetime license, its currently $320 under the age of 3 then goes up from there. Im 45 and it would cost me $1976 for one now. Currently for a yearly its $38 and doesnt include trout but does include small game. I also wish TN would do like KY and split hunting and fishing as I dont hunt.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
I have had four trips out kayak fishing in the past few weeks. The first two were skunks, the last trip I only caught a 11.5"er and somehow broke the baseplate on my upgraded rudder handle. I got fingers crossed my DIY baseplate holds up so I went today and managed to catch a few that were score able for the Catch22 tourney ,but nothing big. Both were caught on a white Booyah single Colorado blade spinnerbait.

have you even had a package stolen from your front porch?
A few years back all the cars in my neighborhood got hit.My truck was locked up but my Wrangler is kept without doors or windows most of the time. They rummaged through it but I dont leave anything of value in it. As soon as it happened I installed several Arlo cameras around my house including the doorbell. If anyone steps foot on my property the get recorded and my wife and I get notifications on our phones. It may not stop a thief but at least Ill have them on film.
