Well, with all the market turmoil, hard assets (commodities generally) have blown up! Oil was up yesterday and jumped more than $6 today to around $104. As I had said before, this is very volatile market. I still believe the trend for oil is down, but we'll see...

Well now, you ask for opinions... My observation is that it takes " 'bout 8 " unweighed to get to 5 weighed. I've looked at the pictures several times this morning and decided not to guess because I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it, but since the "issue" is being pressed, 3 maybe 3 1/2 lbs.

Took me 2+ years, but now it has become my "go-to" lure. My strong suit has always been soft plastics, yet I have hardly fished them this year. That's really a big deal for me! 8-)

The turmoil in the financial markets lead to a flight to "hard assets" yesterday. Oil participated in the commodity rally rising to more than $101 in overnight trading. A relative calm has returned to this morning's session with oil trading back down to $97. Although we will continue to see extreme volatility, the trend is still down. 8-)
