Largemouth are the best fighters!!!!!!
Ok Matt, I'll play along...Big largemouth bass, 10+, fight great for nearly ten seconds for you guys in Kalifornia. Unless of course, you are fishing a topwater swimbait! The best fighting green trout are 6-8 lbs, after that they're too lazy to care! 8-)

Lb for Lb Whose the Better Fighter
The question is "pound for pound". I assure you, a five or six lb smallmouth is more "solid weight" than a comparable green fish. 8-)

yo-zuri ultra soft-knots
Yes, it's just fine. Although it may not "test" as strong as a Palomar Knot, I have never had any issues. Regardless of the knot, I have never been broken off by a fish using Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft. 8-)

"Which is a better fighter?" If a smallmouth is a 10, Largemouth: 5 Spot: 7 8-)

Best Price on St. Croix Avid's.....Anyone Know????
I suspect the special deals were closeouts on previous models. I haven't seen or heard of the AVC or AVS line-ups on sale. 8-)

yo-zuri ultra soft-knots
Whatever you like. Ultra Soft does not require a special knot. On lighter line I use a Palomar Knot; on heavier line a Sixteen-Twenty Knot. http://www.animatedknots.com/palomar/index.php?LogoImage=LogoGrog.jpg&Website=www.animatedknots.com#Overhand http://206.210.94.83/assets/recommended_knots/pdf/fhf_knot_sixteen_twenty.pdf 8-)

California Home Prices Fall 41%
California Home Prices Drop Record 41% in August Amid Defaults By Dan Levy Sept. 25 (Bloomberg) -- California home prices tumbled a record 41 percent in August from a year earlier as foreclosure sales pushed down values in the biggest U.S. state. The median price of an existing, single-family detached home fell to $350,140 and will likely fall further, the Los Angeles- based California Association of Realtors said today in a report. Sales increased 56.7 percent from August 2007 and 1.8 percent from July. "While sales appear to have turned the corner, the median will experience additional downward pressure as we move into the off- peak season in the coming months, and will continue to face pressure from distressed sales,'' Leslie Appleton-Young, vice president and chief economist of the association, said in a statement. More than 101,000 California households received a default notice, were warned of a pending auction or foreclosed on last month, RealtyTrac Inc., a seller of default data, said on Sept. 12. That was a third of the nation's total and represented one in 130 homes in the state. Eight of the 10 metropolitan areas with the highest foreclosure rates are in California, led by Stockton in first place, according to RealtyTrac. Merced, Modesto, Vallejo-Fairfield and Riverside- San Bernardino ranked second through fifth. Bakersfield, Salinas- Monterey and Sacramento ranked eighth through tenth.

Reel Magic spray
I have used both and think you will like KVD Lure & Line Conditioner much bhetter. There are significant differences. For example, Reel Magic is basically a silicone spray coating which washes off after a short period of time. KVD forms a permanent molecular bond. 8-)

overpopulation of small bass
Well, coating them with cornmeal and just frying them up is the traditional recipe and that's great! However, if you're looking for something special, give this a try: http://www.marthastewart.com/recipe/emerils-fish-provencal 8-)

Revo sx or Citica 200E
I would choose the one backed by the promise: "Strong, smooth, silent and reliant." p.s. I have the STX with magnetic brakes which I do not like. The SX features that system, too. 8-)
