I hate to see any athlete injured, but for this to happen to one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game is particularly disappointing. I hope Tom Brady returns to the game. Salute! 8-)

Thank's Rob, I think you have cleared up some misconceptions and addressed statements on this thread that have no basis in fact. I am a big fan of KVD Line & Lure Conditioner and encourage everyone to give it a try. 8-)

Although there are regional differences, autumn in the Mid South means football, whiskey and Primetime for smallmouth bass fishing! Our baitfish are mature and beginning to school. Fall and winter, combined with some river current, brings us the best opportunity for catching the fish of a lifetime. It's time to buckle down, fall fishing can be awesome! 8-)

Welcome aboard! 30 lbs is a possibility in the Great Lakes region, but 6 lb fish are rare and to boat five in a tournament would be a very special day. Larger smallmouth are found in the Mid South, but generally, not the numbers. I would guess the realistic maximum five bass limit would be something less than 35 lbs. 8-)

This is a great lure and the giveaway was very generous. I hope everyone that received a lure will post up their comments and some pictures of fish caught on the Cavitron Buzzbait. 8-)

The day I caught the smallmouth in my avatar, I had several more 5-6 lbs. The total weight of the best five would have been a little north of 30 lbs. This was in January 2005. Oddly, the following Saturday was much better overall. Fishing the Tennessee River two days in an eight day period produced well over twenty smallmouth 5 lbs or heavier. 8-)

No. The Calais is a tank. It is designed for heavier lures, which it handles well! 8-)

Nah, I sometimes fish hours with one bait. The Fat Ika is so "fat' it doesn't tear easily, but sometimes a big bass will throw it of the hook. I guess that's the price you pay for catching big fish! 8-)
