  1. Down here in the South you would not be considered obese, maybe fat, but not obese.
  2. <-<-<-<-<-<----------- January
  3. Keep an eye on our Flea Market. Great deals come up often.
  4. Too cool!
  5. I think the rest of the guys here are just as excited as you and Jeff. Good luck!
  6. I suggest talking with the authorities now. They might have a talk with him or respond to you more quickly if you call down the road. There is no reason you should have to be looking over your shoulder watching out for this guy.
  7. All kinds of opinions from some pretty good sticks... For me, I spray it on as I respool and before a trip. I use KVD Line & Lure Conditioner on all line, all of the time. That includes FC, mono and braid.

  9. January 5, 2020 Lake ToHo (Orlando, FL) 6" minnow under a balloon Spinning tackle
  10. We catch trophy smallmouth on the Tennessee River in February. I'm less than two hours from Pickwick and retired, so it's easy for me to pick a day. Planning a trip from Minnesota is problematic. We have some nice days, but it's still winter. A better bet is Texas or Florida and you can plan your outing around the largemouth spawn. I would highly recommend hiring a guide who can show you around and put you on fish. I fished ToHo in January and caught my PB. The downside is that Orlando is too far for me to drive and another four days round trip for you.
  11. Man, did that really happen? Whodda thunk it? Shocking.
  12. I lived in Denver for 20 years. There are days in the 60's even in January. However, there is really no true spring, just nice days in a long winter. March and April can be brutal, but the ice should be gone. p.s. My best lake for bass, predominately smallmouth, was Pueblo Reservoir. https://www.sportfishcolorado.com/locations/pueblo-reservoir/
  13. Time for a jig.
  14. 6lbs in the North 8lbs in the South
  15. It's not just a matter of preference, there are fundamental differences in capabilities and performance. If you are going to fish crankbaits, and especially deep divers, a baitcaster has significant advantages.
