  2. I don't know much about horse racing, so the ruling didn't make much sense to me. However, the explanation was quite specific after what seemed like a very long review.
  3. No, this general topic was just recently closed and we are not going there again. Good night Irene.
  4. Trip has been postponed due to the weather forecast, calling for torrential rain next week.

    A better mouse trap...me like!
  6. 1000 yard spools are a much better value and the line has far less memory initially off the spool.
  7. I'm up for another color, I'll give it a try. Thanks!
  8. WOW! $76 is quite a deal.
  9. We will be fishing Monday through Thursday, weather permitting. Any tips?
  10. The Norman Fat Boy (Redear) is my favorite squarebill. After 8 years of pounding stump beds I finally had to replace my original. I own several other colors, but the redear pattern is my most productive. The hooks are sharp right out of the box and do not need to be replaced. The paint has held up very well, but I don't really think that is a consideration. I like lures that are "experienced". Durability in this case speaks for itself. The bill finally broke this spring and my baby retired to a drift wood display in the Man Cave. I am spending a few days on Bull Shoals in Arkansas next week and hope to scratch up my replacement. https://normanlures.com/
  11. Want to kick it up a notch? For those that never use fluorocarbon or for those that have had a bad experience with this type of fishing line, I have a suggestion. Seaguar Tatsu is the best line I have EVER fished, period! The line is strong, manageable, virtually invisible and uniform. You will notice an improvement in sensitivity immediately, especially fishing bottom contact baits. Tatsu has very little stretch, offers high resistance to abrasion and exceeds its stated breaking strength. Memory is nominal, especially when treated with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. Knot strength is not an issue assuming it's properly tied. The line does not get old, does not absorb water and is impervious to ultra violet light. I change my line "as needed", but I have two reels spooled with Tatsu that is two years old. For baitcasters I recommend #12 or #15. Spinning tackle, #6.
  12. Welcome aboard!
  13. MegaStrike is "user friendly" and very effective. I am not convinced that the goo "attracts" bass, but I think they hold on a little better. I NEVER fish soft plastics without it!
  14. #1 presentation for ledge fishing:
  15. Not technically a frog, but the Rage Tail Toad has been killer for me. The Toad can be rigged totally weedless which comes in handy fishing in the grass and pads.
