Best 4 Season locations for freshwater fishing?
First of all, to address "four seasons". In Tennessee the winter is very short and mild, snow is rare and in 23 years I have lived here we have only had a handful of days of single digit lows. Early spring flowers bloom in late February. Smallmouth are red hot from the middle of October through early June. Summer sucks in terms of heat and humidity, but for those that can master ledge fishing it's the best time of year for BIG largemouth. Fall comes in late September and the weather is generally great into December. Some of the best fishing of the year begins in October. Nashville is a "real" city and the home of Country Music. Tennessee has NO STATE INCOME TAX! The cost of living is about average, but SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the coasts and Florida. Within a 3 hour radius of the State Capital you have the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers, Dale Hollow, Pickwick and Kentucky Lake. Two lakes are virtually in the Nashville metropolitan area. A bit further out are Wilson, Wheeler and Guntersville. Then there are literally hundreds of smaller lakes, rivers and streams. If you are a hunter the options are unlimited. https://www.bassmaster.com/news/case-david-hayes

Fishing the Day After a Heavy Rain Storm
BEST DAY EVER was after an epic storm at Pickwick. We had 18" of rain and the lake rose 9' overnight. 78 bass in one day, mostly using a Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad. My partner slayed them on a Red Eye Shad.

MegaStrike I am not convinced the goo "attracts" fish, but I think they hold on a little longer.- JJ's. Finally a "Made Guy"
MegaStrike is much more "user friendly".- Seriously, whats the secret?
Fish can be finicky, but the rocks are always biting. Lures get snagged behind rocks and are easily dislodged by getting behind the rock in a boat. From the bank that's a horse of a different color. Just face it, you are going to loose a few fishing from shore.- They don't call it a
Hold my beer...Now watch this...- What copolymer line do you use?

I don't save them. New day, new trailer...And ALWAYS cut off a few yards of line and retie.- Line for Finesse and Jig Setups
Spinning tackle: #6 Tatsu Baitcasting gear: #12 or #15 Tatsu- Win A Boatload of InvizX Line!
Oh My!- How early in the year do you start throwing a Senko?
Exactly!- Reel ratios, best uses for each
5 something for crankbaits, 6+ for single hooks.- Bank Fishing Tactics: Fish It Out or Cast and Move
My pond trips are relatively short and I only fish one lure on a given day.- Caught a couple nice bass over the weekend, including my personal best
- New Flash Green Seaguar Smackdown
Strong line even in the smaller test sizes.- Go to bait for Creek smallmouth
Texas Rig with a 3/0 EWG hook and 1/4 or 3/8 oz bullet weight. - Why so much line?
