  1. Try a heavier weighted hook or Buckeye J-Will Swim Jig Head. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Buckeye-Lures-J-Will-Swimbait-Head/1364103.uts?productVariantId=3179267&WT.tsrc=PPC&WT.mc_id=GoogleProductAds&WT.z_mc_id1=03466837&rid=20&gclid=CjwKEAjw5_vHBRCBtt2NqqCDjiESJABD5rCJ5pvog7h5uhIrc1c54CJyTIH9OHScP5-foBpYl6aUgxoCbnfw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds I had the opportunity to talk with and watch Big O testing the Rage Swimmer prototype. The lures main attribute is having MORE action at slower retrieve speed. I think you have done something wrong with your rigging and my best guess is the the weight is too light. Also, make sure the Swimmer is straight and the paddle tail is pointing down.

  3. You will be fine. I suspect your next employer will be VERY happy that you choose them and will welcome you aboard with open arms. Good men with proven skills are hard to find.

  7. Most of my biggest fish have been caught between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
  8. I had not seen the Bill Dance post until just now. It is offensive...nuff said. One of the Moderators top priority is maintaining respectful disagreement, but in this case the topic was totally out of bounds. You are welcome to stay and continue to be a contributor, but this case is closed. It's your choice. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  9. Try actually measuring your drag setting to see what 3 lbs really is: Place a free weight or something that weighs 3 lbs in a plastic grocery bag. Attach the bag to your line and GENTLY lift the bag with your rod, drag open. Tighten the drag to where it does not release which would be 3 lbs. I think you will be very surprised.

  11. My favorite rod by far. It's matched with a Shimano Aldebaran which balances perfectly and creates the illusion of being weightless. Truly a pleasure to fish.
  12. Seaguar Smackdown has a uniform diameter as well. The line performs even better over time.
  13. Okay, Friday and Saturday it is then. I am still looking for a boater to fish with Thursday and Sunday.
  14. Send me a PM with your real name and mailing address.
