  1. WOW! That's quite a fish.
  2. No, "the word" was out and I think we had 12 guys at one time. 25-30 or so has been more typical. We locals might plan another trip together, but the BassResource Road Trips are probably history unless some momentum develops.
  3. Main points. Jigs, Rage Hawg T-rigged & Carolina rigged.
  4. If you still think the Ned Rig is all hype, you REALLY need to give it a try!
  5. The Guidewear in my avatar is now about 15 years old and still looks new. No tears, frays or splits. By far the best "fishing investment" I have ever made.
  6. The next generation http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Extreme-G2-Football-Jig-1031.htm
  7. I really don't care either.
  8. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/okuma-helios-reel-rod.html Update; Still going strong and BETTER than new!
  9. Pretty expensive lure for anyone, but especially surprising for someone still in high school.
  10. Not... My cave has pegboards and shelves for everything. Then I have a large Plano tackle bag with all the stuff I think I might need. Next is a smaller Plano which contains the tackle I plan to use on a particular day. And finally, my rods are rigged and ready and sometimes I never open the tackle bag.
  11. The KastKing are VERY nice reels right out of the box, but I have only fished them for a few months, so I cannot really comment on longevity. For the price I think you should experiment with one of their baitcasters and post a review, good or bad.
  12. No, they are not for you. As I have said before and have reviewed the reels, the KastKing are a good value at their pricing point.
  13. Try this: http://www.mrclean.com/en-us/shop-products/magic-erasers
  14. Correct. The implication was "Dump her".
  15. Cavitron, Whopper Popper, PopMax, Jitterbug, Gunfish or Sammy.
  16. Those are great lines and I am particularly fond of Smackdown, too!
  17. Palomar for single hooks Pitzen (also know as 16/20 and Duncan knot) for treble hooks Alberto for leaders I have never had trouble with a variety of knots, but this is my advise to everyone: "If it ain't perfect, it ain't good enough."
