  2. Last week I fished three days and got -0- bites on days 1 and 2. On day 3, 3 bites and two hook-ups/ landing. The big fish was 31" and 10 1/2 lbs (brown trout). That was ALL I was looking for.
  3. I find Tatsu to be exceptional, by far the best line I have ever fished.
  4. Some in boxes on shelves, but mostly displayed on pegboards where I can see it all at a glance. I keep my main tackle updated by season, then take a smaller bag on the boat with everything I think I might need on the particular day. On one wall I have shelves to organize chemicals and line plus "special" lures that I rarely (never) fish. A big colorful rat for example https://www.spro.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=353
  5. I suspect you will get a few offers from several companies to sponsor their gear. If there is a brand you are particularly interested in, strike while the iron is hot!
  6. Probably little or no value. Old rods are usually used for display, not for fishing.
  7. For numbers try the Zara Puppy (Black & Silver). https://www.google.com/search?q=zara+puppy&espv=2&biw=1280&bih=699&tbm=isch&imgil=1aH9M3llRw8X-M%3A%3BPNCWrEUQwSUvSM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.lurenet.com%252Fheddon-wounded-zara-spook&source=iu&pf=m&fir=1aH9M3llRw8X-M%3A%2CPNCWrEUQwSUvSM%2C_&usg=__5c1T96zoGHaZeee5ksshephY9bY%3D&ved=0ahUKEwia4oOXpq_OAhVC6SYKHZSUCIIQyjcIdg&ei=kyinV9rMD8LSmwGUqaKQCA#imgrc=1aH9M3llRw8X-M%3A

  9. Take a few minutes to read through FAQs and visit the various sections of the Forum. Welcome aboard!
  10. Get a 7' Medium Power/ Moderate Action to fish all your treble hook lures. Spool up with 10# monofilament line. For this application my preference is baitcasting gear.
  11. Well, my take is completely different. I suggest ONLY fishing new lures/ baits when you are on a good bite. That is the only way I can tell whether a bait is going to be added to the line-up. There are too many variables that are attributed to a lure that you simply cannot control. What might be the best bait in the world doesn't always work.
  12. The biggest smallmouth I have caught on topwater was with a Zara Spook.
  13. It seems to be, but both lines are considerably more uniform and smooth than other braided line.
  14. Lucky Craft is a great company with VERY productive lures.
