  6. Going "cheap"... Buy a six pack of good beer and only drink three.
  7. Don't buy it yet, I will send you one all rigged up.
  8. It's too cold to fish, but not to get rigged for the next outing!
  9. 12 - 26 inches! Hunker down and good luck! _______________ Just got a note from my sister-in-law in Denver... -18 real temperature, -37 windchill.
  10. BTW, I still have that JDM BFS rig if you get a wild hair.
  11. The only "white-white" is new right out of the package.
  12. Well, it doesn't bother me at all, in fact it helps me think about using the other 95% of my stuff that is still awaiting Baptism.

  17. Retirement is what you make of it. Most guys are looking for new friends, their old ones tend to die or become disabled. I have two new friends that I fish with a lot now, almost every week!
  18. I like playing with my tackle. All my rods are rigged and re-rigged. Pond trips generally only require one rod, occasionally two. For day trips to Pickwick 4-6, but on a big trip I carry them all in the truck. Next trip to the river: Two spinning rigs, Menace and split shot rig. Baitcaster, Topwater Baitcaster, Jerkbait Baitcaster, RES Baitcaster, A-rig
  19. A lot of my fishing buddies are engineers which REALLY comes in handy when things need fixed. They seem to know how everything is suppose to work and they get it running right.
