Strike King Red Eye Shad and maybe XCalibur Xr50. Well, there might more, but that will get you started.
  2. The jointed construction gives them great action which looks very natural to me.
  3. Okay then, Florida is on fire! Another idea might be Lake Hartwell host to this year's Bassmaster Classic. They did pretty well, but by late March I suspect the fishing will be much better.
  4. #71 was KILLER for me on Pickwick last year! I fish an internal weight and weedless.
  5. I would like to help, but I don't think you can get "South" in a day.
  6. Moderator note: The Fun Police had to edit this thread. Stay on topic or move on. -Kent
  7. I have had very good luck with the Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad. A few years ago I had the privilege of fishing with Dinky at Pickwick during the BassResource.com RoadTrip. We both caught a lot of fish and I had my best day ever in terms of numbers: 78 bass. Nearly everyone was caught on the Sworming Hornet.
  8. Just picked up four of the new Rapala Shadow Raps, two shallow and two deeper.
  9. Chatterbait: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/dhc7-primmus-review.html & Tatsu #15 Spinnerbait: St. Croix LE70MHF/ Shimano Calais/ Tatsu #20 Swim Jig: G. Loomis MBR842C/ Core 50Mg/ Tatsu #15

  11. Is that year-around or just in cold weather?
  12. Nope, no trailer and no blades on this particular set-up.
  13. Had great luck last year using the Rage Structure Bug, rigged horizontal, white on white. Another suggestion is removing the skirt and rigging a Rage Tail Cut-R, tail down.
  14. Welcome aboard!
  15. I'm confused. Did you mean to say that you use fluorocarbon on your jig rig?
  16. Okay, my apologies, there is no reason to get in your face. I am in total agreement that Casey was within the rules.
  17. I only fish the Live Magic Shad.
  18. Well, a note for all... Posting videos here at BassResource.com is encouraged, we love 'em! However, PROMOTION IS STRICKLY PROHIBITED. The determining factor is your affiliation with the company.
  19. My best producer: Outside arms rigged with LFT Live Magic Shad on Gamakatsu 3/0 Offset Worm Hooks unweighted. Center arm, Johnson Silver Minnow.
  20. No. As I specifically noted, the rules address the issue and the practice is allowed. However, rules change over time and maybe this one should be discussed and reconsidered.
  21. What Did You Learn From The Classic It really helps to have accurate waypoints to locate brush piles you have hidden. The fact that this is specifically allowed by rule has been noted. It still just doesn't seem like this is right, especially on your "home lake". On the otherhand, anglers take note! Instead of complaining about the weather, start collecting things to build yourself a few piles on your favorite lake.
  22. It's just a blast of winter. Everything will be back to normal in a couple of weeks.
  23. The details can be found on another website that we have had disputes with in the past. You can Google the details on the internet. -Kent
