  2. Hmm... All this speculation and not a bit of proof? On the other hand, God must be a Seattle Seahawks fan. Divine intervention is the only explanation for that win!
  3. I need some reference here. How does the CTE200GT compare to the Conquest?
  4. I use it all the time on everything except braided line. KVD Line & Lure Conditioner is a great product and it doesn't hurt a think to get it on your reel.
  5. I like everyhing except big swimbaits. I know how effective this technique can be for a shot at some monster fish, but I don't like the equipment or physical effort required. Skiing big bass to the boat doesn't trip my trigger either.
  6. We're fishing below Pickwick Dam. Please post a report after you are done today. We are panning on drifting minnows, but we are always open to suggestions!

  8. Want to bet on the Super Bowl? It's easy this year. Just pick a winner. The Super Bowl XLIX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks line at Westgate in Las Vegas and the Caesars Entertainment properties opened as a pick 'em, which means there is no point spread for either team to cover, as neither is favored, at least initially. The initial over/under total at the Westgate is 48.5. According to Jeff Sherman, an assistant manager at the Las Vegas Westgate sports book, and Dave Tuley, who writes for ESPN.com, the consensus as the Patriots put the finishing touches on their 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts was that the line was a pick 'em. Although Tuley said MGM properties had the Patriots as a 1-point favorite.

I reviewed your "Content" and no post other than this one shows up today or this moth. Repost. -Kent
  10. Trying to get over there this week. We will probably fish for smallmouth below the dam. Does anyone know if the shad kill has been washed downstream? Any suggestions other than minnows?
  11. Sweet. I am looking forward to trying the Sunline Diefer Armilo you mentioned in another thread.
  12. Here is another trick to try: Remove the skirt and rig up a Rage Tail Cut-R for the trailer (tail down).
  13. Knowing how your drag is actually set allows you to develope a "feel". Besides, I think it's fun on a cold, dreary day to play with my toys.
  14. The only thing worse than playing in Foxborough for opposing teams is NOT playing tomorrow! I am looking forward to a great game.
  15. Never while fishing, but have had a couple broken by accident.
  16. 6 1/2' - 7' MF or MHF If you want a specific recommendation we need a pricing point. For weightless soft plastics I use a 7' MF spinning rod. If it is weighted a 7' MHF baitcaster.
  17. Got to go with the favorites tomorrow, but I think both games will be close.
  18. Hmm...News to me. I have never adjusted the spool tension to adjust the brakes.
  19. Hmm... I have been fishing Shimano since 1997 and have never had an issue of any kind. I consider their Customer Service a model for every company. Bantam 1 (Dan Thorburn) is the man in charge and you can talk with him directly: Phone number (949) 951-5003
  20. Well, as I understand the OP's question, he was asking how to set the drag on a FRESHWATER spinning reel which I also assume would be mounted on a BASS rod. I doubt he will be using 30 lb leader, but regardless of that, 7.5 - 10 lbs of drag is probably not compatible with the rod.
  21. Well, if your audience is local you should contact local merchants. You are going to have to "sell the deal" and the competition is stiff even if you are a non-profit organization.
  22. Get 'er done! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/149693-nib-shimano-stradic-ci42500fa/
