  1. Recently acquired a couple of these and looking forward to giving them a try!
  2. If cost is not a consideration Tatsu. Other highly recommended top tier fluorocarbons are Sniper, Toray and Shooter. For great "affordable" lines, Seaguar InvizX for spinning tackle, AbrazX for baitcasters.
  3. C'mon dude. You are active on the boards, but stuff like this kills your credibility.
  4. A couple of posts have been removed. You guys got a beef from another forum, take it off-line. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  5. Look like Deflate-Gate is about to be wrapped up: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/deflategate-fallout-nfl-focusing-on-patriots-locker-room-attendant-012615 http://www.forbes.com/sites/matthewkory/2015/01/26/deflate-gate-bill-belichick-patroits-sports-controversy-dumbest-ever-seriously-its-mindblowingly-stupid/ Bring on the game!
  6. Most of the guys fishing below dams on the Tennessee River spend their entire day "drifting". There are some differences between this and trolling, but there are more similarities. I like drifting and trolling!
  7. David Hayes caught The World Record Smallmouth while trolling for walleye. http://www.bassmaster.com/news/david-hayes-and-world-record-smallmouth-bass
  8. Pinnacle is the "New Guy" on the block. I think we have some staff rviews on the specific rod you are considering. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/pinnacle-tournament-class-review.html
  9. I have a collection displayed in my Man Cave on an interesting piece of driftwood.
  10. 65 yards is enough for long casts without feeling the connecting knot.
  11. I fish lizards exclusively on a short leader, lightly weighted C-rig. The action is virtually all in the tail. The presentation is a slow crawl. I particularly like the Rage Tail Lizard. The patented ridge gives this bait a unique shimmy as it moves through grass and over rocks. I don't know what a worm or Senko actually represents to a fish other than just "something to eat", but the Rage Lizard looks like a live creature.
  12. That line has been HIGHLY recommended by some of our seasoned members, but I have not tried it yet. My suggestion for an excellent inexpensive alternative is Sunline Super Natural. I have been VERY impressed.

  14. Welcome aboard!
  15. Beautiful dog!
  16. It's not required, but it is an option. I remember when the Zebco 33 was king and I had a transistor radio, too. Technology has changed a little over the past 50 years.
  17. I don't know why Moaner isn't a sponsor, I feel like I'm almost friends with the owners. Big O uses their products which I think he helped develop. I have been fishing them for several years. The Buckeye jig head is simply the bomb!
  18. Just one at a time and she will never know.
  19. Hmm... Comparing anything to Matzuo doesn't make a strong statement. There are so many other options, I am surprized you settled for Eagle Claw.
  20. No it wasn't "bad", but the guidelines are simple and straight forward. The entire Forum, including Everything Else and the Joke thread in particular, is moderated to be "G" for General Audiences. Occasionally a PG or even M will slip by, it just happens. -Kent
