  1. Yes I have, but I am currently spooled up with Yo-Zuri Hybrid #4 (8.5 lb breaking strength).
  2. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/pinnacle-optimus-xlt-dhc-review.html I'm spooled up with #12 Sunline Super Natural.
  3. I have been fishing Yo-Zuri for more than a decade and it is still my most fished line. I use Tatsu on a dedicated jig rig and as leader for braided line.
  4. Welcome aboard!
  5. WTI $60.72
  6. 100% of the bites occur on the fall and you won't feel anything. If it doesn't hit the bottom when you think it should, set the hook! Otherwise, you will feel "something" when you begin reeling... SET THE HOOK!

  8. If you have interest in giving this line a try, it is currently on sale. Tatsu is the finest line I have ever fished.
  9. This has been killer for me: Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad. A few years ago at Pickwick on a BassResource RoadTrip I caught 78 bass one day on this rig. The key is the retrieve: Cast and let the lure settle to the bottom. Maintain your rod at 10:00 while quickly reeling, perhaps five turns. Allow the lure to fall on slack line and repeat until you feel you are out of the zone. The underblade lifts the body, DO NOT PUMP your rod. Reeling lifts the bait, pumping moves it forward.
  10. Well, Alaska rates last...only state without bass. "Best Largemouth" are CA, TX, FL and maybe GA. Second tier might include the Carolinas, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee. For smallmouth, the states with access to the Great Lakes plus Lake Champlain for numbers. Next are AL, TN and KY especially for "size". Another option is Mexico...
  11. Best Value: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/Pinnacle-Producer-LTE-review.html
  12. All of the above! My most productive is the Norman Fat Boy, redear pattern
  13. My wife likes whole gain, too. I call it "Dirt Bread". My preference for sandwiches is old fashion Wonder Bread, the kind that sticks to your teeth! Otherwise, I am a fan of both rye and sourdough.
  14. The Calais would qualify for the "Built Like A Tank" category.
  15. Well, the guys can spin the story anyway they like, but you will still look like a fool. If you don't care, that's fine, but it is still the answer to your question: "people will think i dont know what im doing and think im stupid"
  16. Too cool!
  17. That seems like a fitting end to this thread. Good night Irene.
  18. Colors are defined by wavelengths: http://science-edu.larc.nasa.gov/EDDOCS/Wavelengths_for_Colors.html The visible red light has a wavelength of about 650 nm.
  19. Today's close was $63.11, down 4.15% from Friday.
  20. I'm surprised the score was even that close. The Seahawks dominated the Eagles and made Sanchez look just like he was back with New York.
  21. Your choices are only limited by preference.
  22. WTI hit a five year low this morning. The January futures contract is $63.83. The trend is your friend...lower prices going into the new year!
