  1. T-rig is fine, so is the Rage Rig and shaky head. However, I have had GREAT luck with the Jika Rig and using the Rage Bug as a Chatterbait trailer!
  2. WTI $65.70 today.
  3. I think I have been fishing/ recommending the line for a decade or so...I like #6 for spinning tackle, too!
  4. All you need is a good lure retriever. I have only lost one Rig in strong current on the Tennessee River, never on a lake.
  5. David vs Goliath The betting line has moved up to 14.5 points. I guess the only people that think Missouri has a chance are hardcore Tiger supporters. On the other hand, I suspect a lot of college football fans will be rooting for the underdog. GO TIGERS!
  6. Panther Martin, black with gold blade and chartreuse spots
  7. When wholesale prices rise they are almost immediately reflected at the pump. On the other hand, when prices fall the suppliers drag their feet to work out the cost of oil "in process". So, it takes a little time, but the trend is your friend!
  8. Same suggestion, but I don't like ever feeling the knot. I would suggest doubling your maximum cast.
  9. MegaStrike 25% off Sale! (2) MegaStrike Attractant (2) 1/2 oz Cavitron (2) 1/2 oz EWG ShakE Heads (2) 1/4 oz (2) 1/8 oz (2) Big Bass Spinnerbaits Double Willow Blade (2) MegaTube Craw
  10. Rigging: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/147514-school-me-on-the-a-rig/
  11. WTI closed at $66.75 today and poised for a dramatic collapse. Perhaps another 10% before year end.
  12. Hmm... Looks like you missed by a couple of inches. Close, but no cigar!
  13. WTI is trading at $67.38 today. Look for the price to drop another $20-$25 over the next few months. I estimate the pump prices (national average) will drop below $2.00 per gallon and in some states, around $1.50.
  14. Well, give Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12 a shot. The breaking strength is 19.5 lbs and the line is currently on sale, $5.99 for 275 yards or $8.99 for 600 yards. Then there is a 20% discount on everything and free shipping if you spend $50 or more.
  15. Yeah, that stuff might be the toughest line out there, but it has WAY too much memory, especially for cold climate guys. If your priority is simply abrassion resistance, Big Game might be the answer, but you should at least try P-Line CXX.

We are still paying $2.27 in Memphis, but it looks like we might break the buck this weekend! http://www.foxbusiness.com/industries/2014/12/03/its-official-1-gas-shows-up-in-oklahoma-city/
  17. Whoa! That is BEEE-U-TEE-FULLLL

Most of the year, Rage Craw and Lobster. Right now Rage Craw DB with more subtle action: http://www.basspro.com/Strike-King-Rage-DBCraw/product/1306270655443/?hvarAID=shopping_googleproductextensions&om_mmc=shopping_googleproductextensions&kpid=1306270655443&kpid=1306270655443_Green-Pumpkin#desc-tab
  19. Cold chocolate milk is a challenge. I would be looking for somewhere else to fish.
  20. If it ain't perfect, it ain't good enough. 16-20 also know as Pitzen or Duncan Knot
  21. Floroclear is one of the worst lines I have ever fished. After several beak-offs on multiple spools, I finally gave up. ALL of the breaks were while casting. The line is very manageable and I wanted it to work, but it didn't for me.
  22. I ended up using my Stella 1000FA on this rod: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/142505-custom-rod-from-d-v-t/
  23. Would you be willing to pay $228.88 for a $315 rod, no sales tax or shipping charges? Pinnacle DHC7-741CAMCB.
