  1. Short video with some great information on backing your trailer from Glenn: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/backing-a-trailer.html
  2. Thought it was a typo, I have never heard of Luck-E-Strike lures. Lucky Craft has a Rick Clunn Series that I fish and am familiar with.
  3. I fish it vertically so it looks like a baitfish. Same with the Shellcracker.

  5. Hmm... I think we have a sticky at the top of this section with a few thousand posts on this very topic!
  6. This will probably be the pattern at Guntersville and the lures you will need: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/bfl-pickwick-101314.html
  7. One GREAT rod is better than three "okay" rods. Rome wasn't built in a day, collections take time to accumulate. One of my Avids (AVS66MLF) is 12 years old. My first GLX (MBR844C) is at least 10 years old. I will probably keep these rods in the line-up for the rest of my life. I feel the same way about some brand new Pinnacles that wer just acquired over the past couple of years. Be patient, grasshopper...

  10. That's never happened to me or anyone I fish with. In fact, I have never caught a fish on an outside arm. Every fish I have caught has been on the middle main arm.
  11. I was a season ticket holder when I lived in KC during the George Brett Era. When the Rockies came to Denver I was there and one of the biggest fans. But then there was the World Series Strike in 1994 and I have never been to a game or watched one on television since. If the Royals make it to the Big Show my 20 year strike is over.
  12. Well, the BYE game should work out okay...
  13. Well, if that's the criteria I am surprised the Senko hasn't been banned, too!

  15. Well, I don't really care whether The Rig is fished in tournaments or not, but for everyone else, NOW is the time! I especially like trolling slow or drifting along grass edges and over structure.
  16. Thanks Mike! I really like my new rod.
  17. I had a similar plan rigging for this weekend at Pickwick. However, plans change and adjustments have to be made depending on conditions. I let these guys pre- fish for me: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/bfl-pickwick-101314.html As a result my set-ups have changed. 1. Cavitron Black on Black 2. Seibert Outdoors Cosmic Spinnerbait & MegaStrike StrikeBack White 3. Bluebasser86 Bladed Jig White/ White Rage Structure Bug 4. Rage Structure Bug Jika Rig 5. GYCB Kut Tail on a Megastrike ShakE2 Professional Series. 6. Norman Fat Boy & Lucky Craft RC2.5
  18. Both the Craw and Baby Craw make great jig trailers, but can be very effective by themselves. I rig the Baby Craw on a 2/0 Gamakatsu Offset Worm Hook and a 1/8 oz barrel weight. The Craw can be rigged the same or with a little more weight. However, I prefer Rage Rigging the Craw with 1/8 or 1/4 oz Moaner weighted hooks. http://www.moanerhooks.com/the-rage-rig/
  19. Looks like lot's of fun. Great pics, too!
  20. Tell us what state you are in and maybe the local guys can help. As a general statement, water temperature 63-66 calls for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits and maybe topwater in low light.
  21. Fifteen minutes. If you have waypoints the fish are ALWAYS there SOMETIMES, but not necessarily when YOU are there! The best example is ledge fishing. You need several spots and go back throughout the day. The bad news is they may not be there; the good news is that when you find them, they are ALL THERE!
  22. First take it back to the retailer. 99% of the time they will swap it out. Next, contact Stike King and they will probably send you two!
