  2. Woo-Hoo! Are you ready to rumble? Game of the week, Denver at Seattle.
  3. I would, too! Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 has a breaking strength of 11.9 pounds.

  5. 5 X 0 = 0 Get a Sammy, they are worth every penny.
  6. WOW! Kansas City played it to the wire, GREAT GAME! Two down, a few more to go...I would like the Broncos to run the table...Still in play...
  7. The Chiefs travel to Denver today. A traditional rivalry that has been a little lopsided in recent years. I was at Mile High when Joe Montana was with the Chiefs and won a nail-biter on Monday Night Football. Today's game doesn't have the same charge, but Kansas City always brings their A game to Denver.
  8. There are thousands of crankbaits, some work better than others. I think your money is better spent on a few tried & true. Specifically I would recommend the Norman Fat Boy, KVD 2.5, Red Eye Shad, DT6 and Bandit 200 to start with.

  10. If any of you guys are duck hunters I have decoys for sale, $5 apiece. I'm not sure how many I have, but it's around two dozen.
  11. Those are some fine fish!
  12. The baby carp looks like many other species. Any "shad/ minnow bait' with a comparable color should work. My suggestion is the DT6, Pearl Gray Shiner: http://www.rapala.com/rapala/lures/dtandreg-dives-to-series/DT.html
  13. Woo-Hoo! Nice fish, great pics!
  14. You guys will need to take this discussion off-line, PM or e-mail. Please read FAQs regarding sales and promotion. -Kent p.s. Nice looking lures!

  16. Well, I don't think you need to be precise or make it complicated. Basically 20=6, 30=12 and 40 or 50=17. I like 40-50 on baitcaters because the line does not dig in as easily. I like the new Tuf-Line Tournament 8, but if you are looking for a VERY good economical braid, try Sufix 832.
  17. Yeah, I hear ya, I just like playing with different knots! The point I would stress is a knot is not "good enough" unless it is PERFECT. Tied correctly, all commonly tied knots are probably sufficient for bass fishing.

  19. Eat them yourself, give them away or leave them somewhere around the pond that is "out of the way". The fish will be gone by morning, nothing is actually wasted. I think it was Ray Scott that made this comment (paraphrased) about thining an overpopulated pond: Take out what you think is half of the fish, then take out that many more! You may have to do this over again for the next several years. You really need to get other guys involved.
  20. I fish the St. Croix Avid AVC66MF with a soft tip/ Scorpion 1000. Mine is spooled with #12 Sunline Super Natural.
  21. With the owners permission you should kill every fish you catch.
  22. Okay gentlemen, the food fight is over, let's play nice.
