  2. Pick your favorite state and talk with the Department of Wildlife or like names (Department of Natural Resources). Alabama might be a good place to start! On the other hand, spending a few years in Alaska would be my dream.
  3. Baitcasting: Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12 Spinning: Hybrid #6
  4. Rage Craw or Lobster on traditional jigs. For swim jigs I like the Menace, Shellcracker and GYCB Swiming Senko.
  5. If you have decided to spend more time fishing you might consider stepping up your game. Spinning tackle is VERY user friendly and both of you could pick it up in a day or two.
  6. Wow! That was actually VERY entertaining. What is the name of the instrument he was playing?
  7. I have had some luck fishing the Ledgebuster exactly as you have descibed fishing the lure. Good luck!

  9. I have the LEC70MHF with the brown blank. I think this is a great rod. Mine is pared with a Calis which I use almost exclusively for spinnerbaits.

  11. Geez... So much baggage, pick a differnt brand. Specifically take a look at a couple of our sponsor's gear: Pinnacle & Okuma.
  12. Hot for me right now: Rage Tail Lizard Jika rigged and GYCB Kut Tail on a ShakE2 Pro Series
  13. Well young man, I think you should consider your audience before making a post like this. Our members are first and foremost conservationists in a traditional sense, and that does not mean tree-huggers. Unless it is a matter of self-defense, killing animals just to watch them die is unacceptable and inexcusable.

  15. I don't know, some guys collect guns, coins, stamps and cars. I collect fishing gear which is pretty cheap compared to many other hobbies. How much are season tickets for your favorite football team? If you take your family or just your significant other I suspect the cost far exceeds what you spend on fishing equipment.
  16. The Lucky Craft Pointer 128 has many of the characteristics you are looking for.
  17. That's a fine fish. Congratulations!
  18. Fishing is still a blood sport. I suggest keeping legal fish and either eating them yourself or giving them away to someone that will appreciate the gift.
  19. Great suggestion! You will find this topic now pinned at the top of the page.
  20. Outdoorsmen should ALWAYS carry a knife and fishermen should ALWAYS carry pliers.
  21. We have about 6 threads running on the first 10 pages of this section.
  22. MegaStrike ShakE2 Pro Series/ MegaTube Craw or GYCB Kut Tail
