  1. A small boat would be a much better option.
  2. I was going to recommend George Welcome, but he may be retired. Perhaps you can still get in touch with him. At any rate, hiring a guide would be my #1 priority.
  3. The BassResource staff has had the opportunity to fish most of the new Tournament Series rods & reels. We have been VERY impressed! http://www.bassresource.com/content/search?SearchText=pinnacle&BrowsePageLimit=30 This is the reel I would have you focus on, it is my favorite: Optimus XiHS http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/p-139-optimus-xihs.aspx#page=page-1
  4. The rod may perform multiple tasks, but for the most part, it is used for just one. An example is my designated top water outfit: PR844C/ Core 100MG. The combo makes for a fine crankbait rod, too! However, I carry other crankbait gear, so this one nerver comes into play.

  6. Izorline is a very nice line you don;t hear too much about. http://www.izorline.com/monofilament.php
  7. Going to be a winner!
  8. Thanks, that was great!

  10. Pretty cool!
  11. 4/0 Gamakatsu Offset Worm Hook/ 1/4 oz tungsten bullet weight. If you fish it like a Senko, rig the worm tail up. If you want to slow swim the Cut-R, tail down.
  12. It won't make any difference, you will be fine.
  13. Most of the guys I fish with follow this guideline: Can't pop-a-top until the first fish is boated or 7:00 AM, whichever comes first!
  14. San Diego Jam http://www.animatedknots.com/sandiegojam/
  15. Your "WARNING" was when I deleted your post.
  16. Rage Tail Cut-R T-rigged
  17. Congratulations!
  18. I just talked with Parks & Recreation. Grove is closed today (Monday) for routine water testing. There is nothing wrong or suspected, just an annual check-up for this and all other Germantown parks.
  19. $350+ Tip I have a friend who fishes FLW and guides on the side. His home lake is Pickwick. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will put you in touch. -Kent
  20. I guess it's that time of year. The buzzbait bite is on fire!
  21. Headline reports are not necessarily factual reports. I just talked with Parks & Recreation. Grove is closed for routine water testing and should reopen later today. There is nothing wrong or suspected, just some work to keep our city employees busy!
