Waiting Game
- A Long Time Comin'
Let's move forward. I offer my best wishes to you and your family. Welcome back! -Kent- What Power Loomis For 1/4 And 3/8 Oz Jigs?
My favorite combination: GLX MBR 842C/ Core 50mg7/ Tatsu #12 It can do a lot of things, but for me this is a dedicated swim jig and small swimbait rig.- St. Croix Avid
If you find it too bulky, pick another brand.- Spinning Setup Yes/no?
Well, that is not necessarily the case at all. My spinnming tackle is a bit more expensive than any of my baitcasting rigs. I like both types of gear, but have a strong preference for one over the other depending on the technique I am fishing. Power fishing = baitcasting Finesse = spinning gear- Pre-Rigging Before A Trip
I think most guys pre-rig everything they think they might use, then make adjustments on the water. Pastics don't dry out in weeks, let alone overnight.- The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
AAA, as nice or nicer than any rod I have ever owned.- Best Ways To Use A Kut Tail Worm?
I fish them almost exclusively on a shakey head. The bait and rig is probably my most productive set-up, but I have an issue that sometimes prevents me from fishing this rig. When the fish are especially aggressive the fish inhale the bait and are gut-hooked. I always pinch down the barb on the ShakE2 which helps, but does not always work. I have heard that the GYCB Kut Tail is the most popular soft plastic in Japan, above the Senko. Does anyone know if that is true?- Wierd Ledge Bites, Do's And Dont's A Needham Story....
Next time you target green fish on the ledges, try a purple worm or more specifically a Rage Tail Thumper (bluefleck). You might also consider feeding some smalljaws. Posted May 18 2014 - 09:14 AM Two boats, four fishermen = 74 smallmouth, 8 green fish and a dozen or so "other species". EVERYTHING was caught on a 3" tube, although I threw a variety of hard baits, jigs, soft swimbaits and other soft plastics. Also note: the color was BPS 71 except for one smalljaw I caught on an original Gitzit, baby diaper yellow (chartreuse).- Core 50Mg7 Or Metanium 100 Hg?
Why didn't you have them replaced?- Icast 2014
Do you know anything about "some guy" introducing a new worm specifically designed for the wacky rig?- Norman Cranks
My #1 crankbait is the Norman Fat Boy (redear).- Wierd Ledge Bites, Do's And Dont's A Needham Story....
Great post!- Best Clearwater Crankbait?
Excellent advice!- The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
SPEEDBEAD has made the phrase famous around here. I got it.- Placed My First Siebert Order
After you fish them report back!- Summer Spinner Bait Tactics ?

CONGRATULATIONS!- Who Is Your Favorite Pro Bass Angler?
I have had the privilege of fishing with Big O a few times and he would be my choice.- Really Need Some Advice
X2 If you want to devote some time to a project, contact your State Wildlife Department to see if they are willing to evaluated the pond. I'm guessing the best solution is to kill every little fish you catch, but you will need permission from the state and whorver owns the property. The standard rule is to take out all you think is necessary and then do it again!- The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
WOO-HOO! FedEx just delivered my new replacement!- My Tool Box This Weekend.
Might want to add the Fat Ika as another option.- Nrx Not Loading Up Properly .
I suspect this will become your favorite rod. - A Long Time Comin'
