  1. The action on most Rage Tail baits is enhanced by the patented edge. I have had the opportunity to fish The Bug for the past several weeks and it is KILLER! The bait can be rigged a number of ways. I especially like it Rage Rigged in shallow water, T-rigged deeper.
  2. The baits you have look like Banjo Minnows. I would trash those and buy Shadalicious, Berkly Hollow Belly or Keitech Swing Impact Fat. The Shadalicious and Hollow Belly can be rigged on a weighted hook, I prefer a Buckeye J-Will Swimbait head for the Keitech: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Buckeye-Lures-J-Will-Swimbait-Head/1364103.uts?Ntk=AllProducts&searchPath=%2Fcatalog%2Fsearch.cmd%3Fform_state%3DsearchForm%26N%3D0%26fsch%3Dtrue%26Ntk%3DAllProducts%26Ntt%3Dswim%2Bbait%2Bjigheads%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26WTz_l%3DHeader%253BSearch-All%2BProducts&Ntt=swim+bait+jigheads&WTz_l=Header%3BSearch-All+Products
  3. The Shellcracker is effective on its own Rage Rigged, but I like it best as a swim jig trailer. Siebert Outdoors Tournament Widegap is the perfect match: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Siebert-Tournament-Widegap-Jig-023.htm

  7. Hmm... Been fishing this weekend so I just saw the post. You asked about bulk Senko. The knock-offs are NOT the same.

  9. Might be a better idea to use it for a tomato stake.
  10. Are you accepting orders now?
  11. Try the ledges in deeper water. We killed 'em two weeks ago throwing a 3" slender green tube in about 19' of water.
  12. Glad to see you back! Now what do you really think of the line?
  13. It's not a jig, the Blade is a Rage version of the Chatterbait (modified spinnerbait).
  14. Best just to put it behind you and move on.
  15. Balance is everything! I fish heavy reels (CTE200GT & Calis) as well as very light reels (Pinnacle Primmus Xi).
  16. Start at the top of this page in "Fishing Articles". Read the articles and all the links, then come back to the forums for specific questions. This will get you started: "Just Getting Started" Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own
  17. Roll your wrist as you cast so at the end your handle is pointing up.
  18. Guys who own the CI4+ seem to REALLY like them. However, if you are not as concerned with weight, you might want to consider the Stradic FJ. From what I have heard and read, the FJ may be technically superior.
  19. Watch this short embedded video. I don't know who this guy is or if he knows what he's doing, but it appears to me that when the strike occurs he allows the rod to load before setting the hook. http://www.megastrike.com/#!products/vstc2=cavitron-buzzbaits
  20. Rage Shad, Toad, Menace and Craw. MegaStrike Cavitron and your favorite topwater lures. GYCB Kreature, T-riiged and fished like a jerkbait.
  21. Just to clarify the point, the line broke above the knot.
  22. First and foremost, location. Ya gots to find fish to catch 'em! Next, moving baits or bottom baits? Next, exact depth. Two weeks ago it was +/- 19' ONLY on the Tennessee River. Next, lure. For whatever reason, a thin 3" tube was the ticket. Next, color. Watermelon ruled and I tried EVERYTHING else!
  23. Our local Academy was basically giving it away for $3 and change and still few (no) takers. I bought some #4 for a trout trip to see what it was all about. Unfortuantely I could not tighten a knot without breaking the line. That was it for me, man overboard!
