  1. New "Big Bass" jacket from BR and a new custom rod from Alpster? You go girl!
  2. For single hooks 6.0 - 7+ 5.0 or so for treble hooks.
  3. The two Rage Tail "sleepers" are the Toad and Lizard. The Rage Shad and Eeliminator are also "under-utilized".
  4. Good night Irene.
  5. Pre-order from Siebert Outdoors
  6. Biscuits & mustard http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=sling+blade+biscuits+%26+mustard&qpvt=sling+blade+biscuits+%26+mustard&FORM=IGRE#view=detail&id=DAEFDFB1CA6A4B419D04901413B27A0F16CDA262&selectedIndex=10
  7. Core 50MG Tatsu #10, 12, 15 or 20. I currently have braid w/ #12 leader, but I think I'm going to go with a full spool of #10 for medium weight soft plastics (7" Thumper, 5" Senko and Fat Ika). Note: My comp is the BCR893/ Curado 50E supertuned. My other "very favorite" is the MBR842C/ Core 50MG. I do not yet own the NRX, but I have handled a few. The NRX appears to be the REAL DEAL!
  8. Hmm... In my neck of the woods we have lush green, weedless yards and bountiful wildlife. I REALLY don't see the issue here. Maybe part of the difference is an unlimited water supply. We average 5' of rain a year, the Mississippi River and and aquifer with more pure water than flows through the river.
  9. Spinning tackle #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid Baitcasting gear #12
  10. For an all-around rod in your price range take a look at Okuma 7' MF
  11. You need to add a trailer and slow down. I fished with Big O at the outing and he was using a modified Eeliminator for the trailer. Trim both sides of the main body and you will be good to go!
  12. Pretty lame, dude. I thought you would at least make that loooooong drive from Birmingham to sample my cheeseburgers. We even saved a few thinking you might show up later. Becky's beans were killer, too! Next year maybe we will have the meal for lunch so you can still make it home before the street lights come on.
  13. What makes you think bass are colorblind? http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/75803-are-bass-color-blind/
  14. Keep an eye on this thread and the RoadTrip in the General Section for more on our success at Wilson and Pickwick.
  15. The Rig seems to be most effective in spring and fall when water temperatures are <65* Target areas where you are graphing baitfish, that is the key!
  16. Guaranteed To Catch Bass I just cant catch bass Learning to fish on your own
  17. Welcome aboard!
  18. I'm bringing a couple. You never know! However, my buddies are NOT fishing The Rig in tournaments now, pretty much only for striper. The report I got this morning is this: Lures: square bills, jerkbaits and Red Eye Shad in 1'-8' of water
  19. I'm surprised nobody has responded. We have a few guys that travel to Dale Hollow every year. Maybe they will see this and post something for you. The main things to keep in mind are that this is a clear, deep lake. The World Record Smallmouth was caught trolling a crankbait for walley. http://www.bassmaster.com/news/david-hayes-and-world-record-smallmouth-bass
