  1. That double rig is THE BOMB!
  2. I was there, but you weren't.
  3. Lots of talk about flukes right now, I know some of the guys and gals on the RoadTrip were pitching them. A couple of years ago ghoti introduced me to the Houdini Shad on the Tennessee River. The profile is similar to other flukes, but the action is very different. Give them a shot and I suspect they will become your "go-to" bait in this lure category!
  4. Well, the best part of the jerkbait bite seems to be slowing down around here, but for the last two months it was on fire! I fish several brands, but when it comes right down to catching fish, the Smithwick Rogue is a proven winner.
  5. MM = Medium Power/ Moderate Action
  6. MegaStrike Cavitron Gold blade, black skirt
  7. C'mon guys...lighten up... A couple of edits and one deletion. -Kent
  8. Well sir, you may be "good-to-go" , but I would rather throw rocks than fish with that stuff.
  9. Details on the StrikeBack Spinnerbait http://www.megastrike.com/#!products/vstc2=strikeback-spinnerbait

  12. Maybe the rod for "catching", but the reel makes the "fishing" more fun!
  13. WOW! Great post!

  16. For light line I will tie the Alberto Knot. For heavier lines the Albright works just fine.
  17. 16-20 also known as the Pitzen or Duncan Knot:
  18. Excellent advice! If you tie a PERFECT knot it doesn't really matter which you use. I recommend the 16-20 also know as a Pitzen or Duncan Knot:
  19. Two of my favorite rigs: G.Loomis GLX MBR842C/ Core 50MG7/ Tatsu #12 G.Loomis BCR893/ Curado 50E/ Tatsu #10
  20. I would have Mike put together an assortment. I suspect you might come out ahead since he doesn't always count too well when he assembles a big order! Another advantage is color and jig head styles that you might not consider.
  21. Well, for me there is only one buzzbait and that is the MegaStrike Cavitron. The StrikeBack Spinnerbait is at the top of my list. Shakey head = ShakE2 Professional Series for me. Although I am a BIG fan of the MegaBug, the new MegaTube Craw is my current favorite! Oh! And the "goo". Both hard baits and soft plastics get a new dose of MegaStrike every time they hit the water. Don't leave home without it! Thank you Bobby!
  22. Did Gary's 5.9 pounder hold up or did someone else catch the "Big Bass"?
  23. As others have already posted, they do not outsource.
  24. Soft plastics by a large margin.
