  1. I doesn't hurt to try a variety of retrieves, but I simply use a steady retrieve and depend on the trailer for the "action".
  2. #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid is a good all-around line at a modest price.
  3. Is there a Plan B if Erie is unfishable?
  4. Light and Medium Weight Pinnacle Perfecta DHC5-701CAMCB http://www.pinnaclefishing.com/shop/p-87-perfecta-dhc5.aspx#page=page-1 St. Croix Avid AVC70MM Heavy and Deep Lamiglas SR705R is THE BOMB!
  5. Braid/ fluorocarbon leader works just fine.
  6. This new line of clothing looks great!
  7. Looking for an updated CI4 with X-Ship. Maybe a JDM version of the Curado.
  8. No, they are the same as any other brand. Mine came with the tackle bag.
  9. Spinning tackle: #6 = 11.9 lb breaking strength Baitcasting gear: #12= 19.5 lb breaking strength
  10. Tatsu is the finest line I have ever fished.
  11. I keep most of my soft plastics in their original bags, carried in a worm binder. For the stuff I will be fishing regularly on any given outing, Plano boxes.
  12. I don't think it matters. When the red hook craze I jumped on board, but found the whole thing to be a marketing ploy without any noticable results other than the paint disappearing!
  13. Norman Fat Boy, LC 2.5 & 3.5 and Bandit 200 & 300.
  14. NorthStar Original Swim Jig (bluegill)/ Rage Tail Shell Cracker (green pumpkin/ purple/ gold)
  15. The first two RoadTrips were at Lake Fork. We have had two at Guntersville, two on Kentucky Lake and two at Pickwick. Next year's location has not been decided upon.
  16. Truely an oustanding display!
  17. Outstanding! My experience is identical and I would emphasize that memory is not an issue. Manageability is better than any other fluorocarbon. I consider Tatsu the best line I have ever fished. I am also experimenting with Kanzen as a main line and Tatsu as the leader. The cost savings is significant which makes the line affordable to everyone. So far this is, in my opinion, the best option.

  19. Cavitron 3/8 oz, black on black
  20. Woo-Hoo! Great pics, too!
  21. Every reel I have had serviced, including top end Core, have showed a noticable improvement in performance. With the exception of my Stella reels, I had everything serviced new out of the box. This is money well spent in my opinion.
  22. I think it was 4 3/4 boated by Mike Siebert, but I will check. Glenn's monster broke off. Julie Siebert landed the biggest smallmouth, 3.3 lbs on a Rage Tail Menace.
  23. Who is fishing from a Hobie and what can you tell us about them? http://www.hobiecat.com/?s=f&utm_source=bassresource&utm_medium=logo&utm_campaign=threemonthbr
