Is Braid A Must With The A-Rig?
I think most people use braided line, but it is NOT required, especially for lighter rigs. A prime reason for heavy braid is retrieving The Rig when it is hung. The Bass Pro style retriever fits right ove the top, so your success rate approaches 100%.

Interesting Bass/gar Behavior At The Lake
If they were bass, thet were just chasing baitfish near the surface. Gar will do this, too, but the behavior is also part of the mating ritual. On the Tennessee River we have buffalo fish raising cane with several males fighting over every female. Some of these fish are HUGE! White bass and striper are also prone to this behavior, especially this time of year.

Anyone Experience Trouble With Megastrike Attractant?
What's up with this post? First of all I have never heard of such a thing and have been using MegaStrike since it was invented. Secondly, Bobby has often stated that ALL MegaStike products are GUARANTEED. So he will replace the product or refund your money. However, he can't help you if you don't ask.

One Boston Marathon Suspect Dead - One To Go
It's hard to believe that #2 was able to escape a firefight and chase involving trained and well armed law enforcement personnel. I hope they find him today and don't really care if he is killed resisting arrest or trying to escape.

Memphis, Tn Bass Fishing
All three ponds are in public parks. Grove is near Houston Middle School. I will be a Pickwick this weekend, but I fish the ponds most Saturday and Sunday mornings when I am in town. We could probably get together next weekend, the 20th or 21st.

2013 Roadtrip! You're Invited!
Well, I'll have to admit that a large portion of my A-Rig fishing has involved stripers. The big rig shines with 38 lbs of mad fish tugging on your line! However, I have found that smaller, lighter rigs are just as effective as the heavier originals. The weight s less than 2 oz all in and can be thrown on a typical jig rod, MH or H.

Memphis, Tn Bass Fishing
A few 10s, but 5-6 lbs is more common. I caught a monster on Sunday at Grove Park on a NorthStar Original Swim Jig (Bluegill)/ RageTail Shellcracker trailer. I use to catch a lot of big fish at Neshoba, but they killed the vegetation a few years back and it has never been the same for me. Collierville has extremely clear water and the fishing is pretty tough, there are simply too many little bass in the pond. However, I might have caught my PB there two years ago.
