  1. If you are just replacing a couple, take the lure to a retailer and they can help. If you plan to replace several and they are different sizes, get a variety pack. I bought a multiple size VMC package for less than $10.
  2. Just a reminder... This section, unlike all of our others, is "No holds barred". Most of the guys critiquing your resume have years of experience in the business world. You may need thick skin to go through this, the reviews are usually brutally honest. If there is just one thing I can impress upon you, it's this: "Sponsorship is all about what YOU can do for the sponsor, not the other way around". I am sure there are exceptions, but every long-term relationship I know about has been initiated by the sponsor. That means do your best and always present yourself professionally. The money will find you.
  3. 60,000 people is a big number...I don't think it's hype: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-10681249
  4. I have been perfecting the lightest rig possible. This is an example: Outside arms: LFT Live Magic Shad on #3/0 Gamakatsu Light Wire Offset Worm Hooks, weightless Inside arm: Johnson Silver Minnow This rig can be fished on your jig rod.
  5. Try a Rage Tail Craw on a weighted hook, too!
  6. There are no industry standards, but Ande Fishing Line is representative in my opinion simply because it is IGFA certified and claims more World Records than all other lines combined. Hybrid matches up either exactly or very closely in every size I fish.
  7. We would like to hear from everyone who has tried the line, good or bad. My experience has been exceptional. I might be a little too picky, but one of my favorite attributes of the Tuf-Line is that the line is quiet. Kinda reminds me of another product's motto: Strong, smooth, silent and reliant!
  8. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/35514-rods-power-and-action-%C2%A0defined/ Most guys use a medium heavy/ fast action rod for 1/2 - 3/4 oz spinnerbaits. if you are fishing lighter lures. medium power/ fast action is a better choice.
  9. I have a great State Farm agent who I have worked with for 16 years. Prior to that I was with the compny in Denver for 17 years. My agents have been professsional and the compnay has always been helpful and responsive. My advise is to get in touch with you local State Farm agency and work with a local representative you have met nose to nose and toes to toes.
  10. WOW! I'm worn out just from watching the video!

  12. "All fishermen are liars, but not all liars are fishermen!" That ole sayin' is just for fun, no offense intended or directed towards anyone. -Kent
  13. I think #6 is a better choice. It has a breaking strength of 11.95 lbs.
  14. I hope so, they support the forums! http://www.bassanglermag.com/
  15. I don't think Long Mike is going to be next in line for this reel. Lowe's has bailing wire, coarse steel files and axel grease on clearance this week. Mike can upgrade his Floogers for a great price!
  16. Seaguar offers proprietary fluorocarbon at several pricing points. Stick with a name you can trust.
  17. Big O packages his baits in the clam casing so that we get a PERFECT bait to fish with. Use your worm binder to carry the packages, but don't remove the baits.
  18. Great looking jigs! I think I have a couple on the way!
  19. The Big Bass on Guntersville at last year's RoadTrip was caught on a Fat Ika: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/lake-guntersville-2012.html This is something I wrote 7 years ago: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/6454-the-magic-lure/
  20. Nice fish, GREAT pic!
  21. Mike at DVT upgraded two Curado for me. I was REALLY impressed! http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/
  22. I would also guess 2-3lbs
  23. Congratulations!
