I read an interview recently where Miranda was asked if she was pregnant. She responded, "No, I'm just fat". She went on to say she fights her weight and that her dress size varies during the year between a size 8 and 12. I think she looks better at size 8. http://www.theboot.com/2012/05/16/miranda-lambert-self-magazine-interview/

  4. Well, I have a better deal for you... Someone gave me a box full of Havoc baits which I will never fish. Send me a PM with your address and I will send them to you at no charge.
  5. Wow, I guess it's different strokes for different folks. I just can't figure out why anyone would fish generic baits when there are proven winners for just a little bit more. I fish year around, but I don't think I have ever gone through $100 worth of soft plastic in a year.
  6. I will have VERY detailed, "real-time" intel when we arrive. Right now it's jerkbaits, Red Eye Shad and The Rig. Both structure and cover are key as long as there are baitfish in the vicinity. Generally the bass are being caught in less than than 15' of water. More importantly, we have our "Ace In The Hole". I know Big O will share everything he learns on his first day fishing Pickwick again thie year. As everyone must surely know, he has a knack for finding fish. I suspect a variety of Rage Tail Baits will come into play!
  7. Whether it's girlfriend, wife or kids, bring snacks and drinks. Most importantly remember it's ALL ABOUT THEM, not you. Also, when your "guests" get tired or bored, QUIT FISHING!
  8. Yes and Rhino has his own costume!
  9. Charging for shipping is a good suggestion and is not prohibited. I just wanted the OP to read the guidelines so there was no misunderstanding. Obviously there is a little "promotion" incorporated in these "trials". This issue comes up in the "Tacklemaking" section quite often. The line is not always clear, but the "spirit" of the rule is simply that we are asking members not to flaunt their work when it is intended to be "for sale".

  11. That's great advice! Just a reminder, please read FAQs. Members are prohibited from selling anything they make or buy for resale. Of course, this does not apply to BassResource.com sponsors. -Kent
  12. I have aquired a modest collection of Siebert Jigs over the years. You can buy any jig I have for replacement cost only. Some are custom builds which Mike may not stock, even though he built them at one time. I also carry Bobby's Evolution Jig, NorthStar Black and Original Swim Jig. I have a few customs from 00 Mod, too. We won't run out.
  13. Ear plugs are STRONGLY suggested!

Miranda Lambert has been a favorite of mine from day one, but I'm really disappointed with her weight. She has plenty of resources, she needs a full-time trainer and dietitian.
  15. That's a beauty!
  16. Welcome aboard!

  18. Tuf-Line #30 would be an excellent choice, especiially for $4.99!
  19. Overall, it's the Lobster for me, Rage Rigged or as a trailer on a Siebert Big O jig. However, this spring my best luck has been the Menace as a trailer on an Original Swim Jig from NorthStar Custom Baits.
  20. CONGRATULATIONS!
  21. WOW! Great fish, great pic!
  22. Great report, congratulations!
  23. Why keep fishing in the Dead Sea? Lots of water sucks, especially unmanaged public ponds. Some were never stocked, others have been poisoned and many dry up during droughts. We have hundreds of ponds in the Memphis Metropolitan Area, I fish three. Go to the lakes you mentioned where you know there are fish.
  24. I know you will really like them!
