Texas Rig Vs Jig
That's not surprising...Most guys do a lot better with things they fish rather than things they don't... It makes a big difference where you are fishing. A weedless presentations just makes more sense sometimes.

Confidence And Help With Texas Rig & Jig??
There is a very subtle difference between slack and semi-slack line. The only time I have "slack" line is when I allow a bait or lure to free-fall. In this case you will not "feel" a bite, but might "see" one if your line jumps or stops falling. Semi-slack line is more the norm. This is how most guys fish bottom contact baits, i.e., soft plastic and jigs. The bite is often subtle and it may take some time to develope a "feel" for the light strike. If you keep after it, it will come to you.

Soft Plastic Jerk Baits
Senko77 posted some strong comments a couple of months ago about this bait. I picked up three different colors, but have not fished them yet. These will be "new to me" baits and I doubt many of the fish around here have ever seen one either.

Y U M Money Minnow
Well, I fish several paddle tails including the Shadalicious, but I am really interested in hearing about the Money Minnow. These baits appear to be a little thicker in both the head and tail. I was wondering if a jig head might be a better option here. I use the weighted hook on both the Hollow Belly and Shadalicious, but a jig head on the Keitech Swing Impact Fat.
