  1. I have never fished a line that is comparable. Granted, I have only fished it one day, but on that day it was THE BOMB! I now have three rigs set up for testing and will post my results later. However, for $4.99 I think everyone should give the Tuf-Line Supercast a shot right now!
  2. Well now...
  3. Try the new Tuf-Line Super Cast #10. The coating on this line is super slick. Click on their logo listed with our sponsors. They are running a special for BassResource.com members, $4.99.
  4. Hooks are such a critical component, it always surprises me that people skimp on this part of their tackle collection. The cost of "expensive" hooks is such a small part of the total investment we make in our gear. I fish several brands: Owner, Gamakatsu, Moaner (Mustad), VMC, Tokar, X-Point and Katauage.
  5. Hmm... Have you guys not seen Big O's posts these last several months? A lot of those fish have been caught on Lobsters, but a lot were caught on Thumpers and Anaconda. Whatever the variation, worms are here to stay.
  6. Third post, just trying to get a rise? Okay, I'll bite. My buddy Speedy Madewell is a guide on the Tennessee River, We carry Zebco Omegas for three reasons: The perfect reel for people that don't fish; excellent performance for catching bait; nearly indestructible. On the other hand, spinning tackle is for children and people that don't fish. If you plan to take up the sport of "bass fishing" you will need to learn how to fish spinning gear and/or baitcasting tackle.
  7. Panther Martin Black w/ chartreuse spots, gold blade
  8. Maintaining bottom contact, particularly in current. I fish 3/8 oz swim jigs. Otherwise, 1/2 oz - 1 oz.
  9. Are you saying a 10 lb "fish" or a bass?
  10. There is just something about these reels.
  11. You must try the Tuf-Line Supercast braid. Noise is completely eliminated!

I use the size and style most appropriate for the application. That means a lot of different hooks and a variety of brands. The most intriguing is the X-Point.
  13. There are a lot of great hooks and the Trokar Hook is cerrtainly one of them!
  14. How 'bout the Harlem Shake? http://mashable.com/2013/03/08/nasa-harlem-shake/
  15. I guess things just run in cycles. I was Raider Hater in the days when they were the team to beat. Everyone in the division considered Oakland their main rival. The Raider's reputation for dirty play was well earned and totally deserved. I'm kinda surprised ESPN spends time kicking these old dogs.
  16. Nice job! Here is some more on the topic: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/35514-rods-power-and-action-%C2%A0defined/
  17. The best time is mid day, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The flash will work BIG TIME!
  19. Looks like any other shad to me: https://www.google.com/search?q=hitch+baitfish&hl=en&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=hi07UbL3JYGS9QT01oGYDA&ved=0CD0QsAQ&biw=765&bih=431
  20. Still no pink for me.
