  1. I love me some supertuned. Mike did a PERFECT job for me and more are coming!

  3. A 2500 series (Shimano) is all you need for freshwater fishing. The only issue someone might bring up is coilling, but I have no problems using Yo-Zuri Hybrid #4 or #6. Currently I am experimenting with Tuf-Line SuperCast #10 and Seaguar InvizX #10 leader. This eliminates any coiling or twist issue. This may become Mr.Yo-Zuri's new rig!
  4. Forget about 2 packs of anything. Leave three of each in the packages, then squish three of these into one bag (3X3=9 baits). Now let's say you carry 5 packages, 5X9=45 baits, three of each kind and/or color. Problem solved!
  5. Unless there is an advantage that trends in the population through reproduction, in the natural world things that "stand out" get killed and eaten. I want my lures and baits to stand out a little, too!
  6. Nice pics!
  7. Strap on your Big Boy pants and come over to Pickwick for the RoadTrip. This lake is on fire! 11.8 lb fish weighed in tournament two weeks ago and lots of double digits being reported. Saturday under very challenging conditions, 35lb sack for 1st Place, 29 for 2nd! Guaranteed to have a grand time! -Kent
  8. Wow! 7 years old? My experience is 2 years on top of the line batteries. Be sure to check out our new sponsor, most guys swear by Optima.

Pickwick is on fire, sounds like Kentucky Lake is, too! Right now we are killin' 'em on jerkbaits, Red Eye Shad and The Rig.
  10. You received several responses and some pics in the Tackle section. -Kent
  11. I jumped on board when the Hairy Jig was first introduced...KILLER!
  12. I have a large collection with and without feathers. I don't think it makes any difference.
  13. I'm sure you will find both versions remarkable. For any "doubters", you are doing yourself a diservice if you don't give MegaStrike a try. Bobby has a Money Back Guarantee if you are not satisfied with any of his products.
  14. Spooks are "Classic" lures!
  15. Correct, attachment split rings. I am not opposed to putting on my own, but the fact that a wide range of brand new lures do not come with split rings intrigues me. Perhaps not necessary for optimal performance? The PopMax are particularly interesting.
  16. Rods For enthusiasts, technique specific gear is fun to collect. 17. I might release the State Record Smallmouth in another state, but not Tennessee!
  18. I recently acquired a variety of new hard baits without split rings. The lures are Jitterbug, Spook, PopMax and Sammy. Kinda covers the spectrum in terms of cost. Most, if not all, of my hardbaits have split rings. Is this the new trend? Are split rings "out"?
  19. 35 pound sack won yesterday out of Wilson. 29 lbs out of jp Coleman and 21 out of McFarland. Big fish being caught right now on Pickwick and Wilson
  20. You've got to be s Sheikh, drug dealer or politician to own one of those!
